Doesn't commitment sound scary?

The "C-word" to be is actually a very easy word for me to say. Perhaps it's just me though -- I'm not exactly the best at being the stereotypical male: rough, gruff, and tough. I'm more the sentimental person and don't mind those "long walks on the beach" that stereotypical girls like.

Perhaps though I don't mind commitment because I've already done so though a good number of times. While I don't have a romantic commitment ongoing at the moment, I do have solid commitments as a friend to a good number of people. I like to think that friendship and romantic love aren't really all that far apart, but rather flip sides of the same coin, the only difference being in perhaps the expression of or the degrees of expressing that love. My closest friends I willingly bond myself to because they mean so much to me and I wouldn't want to lose them for the life of me.

Maybe it's just me though. *shrug*

TML is sweet. ^_^

And there's nothing wrong with being committed to someone. I don't find it that hard. There are still ways you can be with your friends too while you're in a relationship--it's not like you're going to be with the one you love all the time.

Garsh. @^.^@

Anyways, I have to agree with Silv on the other side of things too. While I would commit myself to a good friend in a heartbeat, for some reason I don't expect the return favour to happen. I don't expect people to willingly bind themselves to myself, and so I never really think they're there until I have some overwhelming proof of it that I just have a huge cryfest over it. X)

Yeah, I'm a sap.

It doesn't sound scary to me... I wouldn't mind spending the rest of my life with Amy... She is the one for me...
