Interesting. I would've chosen the $25 later instead of the $19 now. My reasoning is my own, but I would have done this because I want the more money--even if it takes a bit longer. I don't want a woman for her to want me for my money, and this is why I ask women to coffee shops as a 'first date'. Isn't that funny? Heh. I usually have a tea or something. It's highly strategic, for if you don't like the girl then you don't spend too much money taking her out to a fancy dinner. I like my method. It usually works, too, for not many men ask women to coffee shops. It catches them off guard, that's for sure. ^_~

Sounds like a pretty effective tactic, Shini. I don't like spending too much money when I could be spending it on something else, like CDs.
I don't try to woo girls with money. That's just dumb in my opinion.

I'm not doing that at all. I'm not condemning anyone, or anything. I mean I would rather have more money later than less money now. That's how I've always been. It's just better business sense. I was even offered this choice once before, and I chose the more money because I am a greedy bastard. =POriginally posted by Cirvante:
To all the people who are thinking, "I wouldn't do that because..." you are deluding yourselves with hindsight. Don't come in and offer such pretenses to personal superiority unless you have something worthwhile to contribute.
I don't think I have personal superiority at all. I hope you don't think that. o.o; All I'm saying is I would just rather have more money later than less money now. Why settle for less? It's just the person's perspective that determines whether they want more money later or less money now. With that said, I would choose the less money now if I really had to, as in if I needed it for something very important. Like, if my mom needed an operation tomorrow, I would choose the less money, without a doubt. But, if everything was okay, I would simply go for the more money. It's MORE MONEY! =P

It was just to point out that not everyone is like that, man. You're reading into things a bit too much.Originally posted by Cirvante:
You are very much using hindsight. Notice the use of the word "more likely," indicating an already existing discrepancy. There is no need to provide counter examples at all because it is a trend, not an all encompassing pattern. What other reason, then, have you to post besides bragging?
