Heck, "Famicom" was a much cooler name. "Samurai" is also cool, though.

The Russian NES clone console they had was named the Dendy, so I guess we at least had Russia beat.

I think Russia also had Subor, but maybe that was meant for another country and some people just happened to have it too.
