Re: What’s your funniest story involving a video game session?
When my best friend & I were playing Gauntlet Dark Legacy together, the narrator would always announce my achievements with grandeur & pride, "GREEN KNIGHT has gained a level!", but the narrator would kinda treat my friend like garbage, "blue wizard has gained a level." The more it happened, the funnier it got.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Re: What’s your funniest story involving a video game session?
An acquaintance of mine insisted that he could beat me at Soulcalibur 3. I had a pretty good reputation for being almost unstoppable but he wanted to try anyway.
So, to definitively prove he couldn't win we had a cage match where his character was set to infinite health, and mine low as possible, with time limit off. So essentially there's no way I can win and no way he can lose. If he can't deplete my health then the match won't end until one of us forfeits.
He scoffed at the notion at first, surely he'd win. But as the minutes passed without him landing a single blow, it began to dawn on him that he might not win. About 10 more minutes passed of him still never landing a single strike and being pinned to the wall like a Cuomo intern, he then just put the controller down in disbelief and said "I don't want to play anymore."
I guess it's just funny for me, not really for him
Similarly, my friend was into Street Fighter 4 and destroyed me with one hand using Dan as he ruthlessly taunted me, and he was texting with his other hand. I guess that's probably what the guy I beat felt like...so wait, this isn't a funny story for me >_>
