Deathgaze was remarkably easy, Diablos was a PAIN. He liked to use annoying moves like Sap and Reverse and such.
I know there has to be at least one Ribbon somewhere. Any idea where to find it? Or is it a Bazaar item?

^There are several ribbons. I have one - I found it in the Henne Mines (after you've opened it fully). There are more around, but I haven't found them yet. You either have to have the Diamond Armlet equipped at the time, or NOT have it equipped at the right time. It varies depending on where your location is.
Beat Hell Wyrm - not too bad, just time consuming. Yiazmat not yet, though.
And yes.

Good luck beating the Hell Wyrm and Yiazmat. I mean it. You'll need it.
And...you have beaten the campaign, of course?

Yiazmat is Hell on Earth and makes every other Weapon-type enemy from every other Final Fantasy combined look like a joke.
Fifty. Million. HP.

You know, if you give Basch the Masamune with Genji Glove, drop his HP low, Berserk, Haste, and Brave him, and then put Decoys on everyone else....he doesn't take nearly as long.Crazyswordsman wrote:I can't even find the item that gets you to Hell Wyrm. The hardest I've beaten is the Behemoth King. That took me an hour to find and then an hour to kill. -CSM

My memory card that actually has FFXII data is back at home in my brother's PS2.
Now I have to beat the game again. D:

The Masamune goes into a combo about 70% of the time when you have the Genji glove equipped.Crazyswordsman wrote:You know, I found the Masamune to be overrated in this game. It's only a few points more than the ultimate sword (I forget the name of it), and it sacrifices a shield. I'd rather take the shield than a few extra points of battle power. -CSM
When your health is low enough you average about 7 hits per attack.
Believe me, it's worth it.

That's why you have Decoy.Crazyswordsman wrote:I'd rather not get hit than hit lots of times. Believe me, it's not worth it. Although against the Behemoth King I can see where you're coming from. -CSM
Use the spell/ability that turns your MP to HP, then do it again
BAM! Single digit HP. Now Berserk, Haste, and Brave. Decoy everyone else. All of a sudden you're getting 9-12 hits every turn and the air is filled with the constant sound of clanging steel and parting flesh. Exquisite.
The Behemoth King didn't last long at all.
....I confess I never went after Yiazmat and the Hell Wyrm. This time I will, though.
Anybody can kill anything with the Masamune, but the strongest with it is Basch and then Vaan immediately after him. I may give it to Fran this playthrough for sheer amusement factor.

Glad you asked.Crazyswordsman wrote:^^Now WHY would you want single digit HP all the time? -CSM
The lower your HP percentage is, the higher the number of hits you get in a combo. At single digits, regardless of level, you'll be averaging about nine hits per combo.
In others words, at high levels and with good buffs, Basch would spank the Hell out of the Behemoth King. If he could keep it up it would only take him twenty-something turns, assuming he caps at 9999.

Anyone can do that, even Panelo. I was actually lucky and it was Basch's turn to fight at that point, since I usually give him the two handed weapons anyway. -CSMWyborn wrote: In others words, at high levels and with good buffs, anyone would spank the Hell out of the Behemoth King. I named Basch because he's the strongest with the Masamune; he's just the best example because he tends to be the strongest with nearly any melee weapon.Crazyswordsman wrote:Anyone can do that, even Panelo.
