Vincent walks over towards the back of the temple, to the great Alter Shrine. The Shrine is a huge work made of Steel, the sacred metal of the Jin Loung, carved into looking like the image the Jin have of the great Yang, the warrior who stood up against the five incarnates of Yin thousands of years ago. Of course, their image was that of a great Metal Dragon warrior weilding two thin swords, skilled in speed, a silver blur on the battlefield, who was able to slice down the great images of Yin before they could even blink . . .
A large silver and gold offering plate lays before the shrine, though it is empty.
"Vincent!" a young voice, liek that of an angel shouts to him, a female dragon of blue scales waving to him. She was only 17, two years younger then Vincent, but she never had trouble keeping up with him, and he admired her for that.
She was a Shui Loung, a water dragon, specifically the daughter of General Nayra, a leader of troops with great influence over the alliance with the Jin Loung. He, too, had been stationed at the battlefront, along with Vincent's father, Helios. Charon was stationed here in Jin Tsu under protection of the city, with as much influence as her father had no risk could be taken with the safety of his loved ones.
"Vincent, you're late! Do you sleep all day?" Charon asked, feigning chagrin, much to Vincent's embarressment.
-Apologize for being late.
-Ask her what she wanted to talk to him about.

Charon looks down, a sad look in her eyes as she eyes the floor, his tail hanging limp behind her. "I'm going to be transferred . . . to Jin Din, the central city . . ."
Vincent looked shocked, then angry, his tail whipping up behind him, "But they said Jin Din was the first place they'd look for you! Its not safe there!"
"That was before . . . that was before people knew I was here . . . before I found you." Charon looks up, her looks is so sad, her aqua-blue hair falling over his face. "They said security had been breeched . . . too many outsiders know a Shui is here . . . a few even know who my father is. Jin Din has better security . . ."
"But . . . I don't . . ." Vincent started.
"I don't want to leave either, I like it here-"
A crash from the front of the temple cuts her off abruptly, the sound of a couple shouts and screams making both of them turn, eyes wide.
"Follow my orders and nobody will be harmed . . ." a strong, arrogant voice calls out from the smoke bomb set off at the temple's gates, the guards lying face down on the floor, knocked out. From the smoke and ash a powerful dragon steps forward, colored a dark brown and covered in armor, a large axe-edged sword in his claw, his lips pulling back let a grin pass over his lips. He's a Mu Lougn, a Wood Dragon, and an ally of the Huo Loung.
"I am General Aska, and now that proper itroductions have been given, I am here for the girl, Nayra's daughter! Give yourself up to me and I will not have have to harm anyone."
Charon looks on in fear as two slender, battle-clad Mu Loung file in behind Aska, each with long handled axes. Vincent growls, taking a step forward on his silverly talon.
"There's no way I'll let you take her!"
General Aska smirks softly, his eyes narrowing at Vincent, "cute . . . but feeble. Kill him and take the girl!" The two Mu Lougn soldiers rush forward, axes held high.

General Aska smirks, holding the stuggling water dragon in his grasp, "I must say I am surprised, even with your natural advantage, that you were able to defeat my soldiers. Not that it matters. Did you really think A troop of Mu Loung would enter a Jin city without taking precautions?"
As if on cue a dragon with bright red scales enters the temple through the fog, wearing black armor and a visor over his eyes, holding a large, spiked sword.
General Aska makes his retreat, laughing at Vincent, "You held your own against my Mu Soldiers, let's see how well you fair against a Huo Loung!"
