OOC:Sorry, for not posting earlier.
General David just looked up and shook his head saying "Lordy, this isn't going to be pretty."
As if to emphasis his point the poor soldier on the rope came falling past them screaming as he was on fire. His body caught fire to the rest of the ropes of his comrades. They came falling down just as fast.
"Well, Repster, Leona, that was a lot easier than I had anticipated.Shall we continue down?"
All of a sudden someone at the bottom of the shaft screamed in pain and kept on screaming.GD yelled down "SHUT UP" took his pistol out and fired several times.
There were several thuds of small explosions of the needles impacting and exploding against flesh.Needless to say, the screaming stopped as they continued down..
OOC:There, short, sweet, and too the point.Only because I don't got much time right now, but still...

The slagged hulls of the repulsorcraft filled the center square, licking flames blazing across their hulls, fueled by various items of equipment and inflammables. The troops had already fled under the cover of smoke that wafted up from the metal carcasses, the unknown amounts of armed troops having taken cover inside the apartment. With luck, they would not decide to check for their target while the warriors were nearby. The group quickly charged into the building after their foes.
As they entered the lobby, they took a quick glance around. The room was pretty much abandoned, save for a few confused patrons and building workers. The soldiers were nowhere in sight…
…”I repeat, they are in the lobby,” the commander quietly whispered into the comlink. He dared another peek around the stairwell, catching a glimpse of the band of warriors who milled about just in front of the door. He quickly darted back, as the CO mumbled some more orders back to the officer. He glanced back to his other men, who were concealed under various portions of the stairs. Nodding, he quickly gave a few hand signals…
…”Where are they?” Luigi muttered, tossing his blade to himself as he glanced around the room. Lucius turned to look back at him, as confused as he was.
”Maybe we should ask them,” he muttered, motioning to the civilians…
…”I repeat, Black lance is good to go,” the pilot said into his helmet’s comm. He quietly re-gripped the control apparatus, listening as the lance commander issued another order to the lone pilot, his machine thrumming around him. He slowly began approaching the plain brick wall of the target structure…
…Lucius slowly begain walking over towards the staircase, when he suddenly noticed a dull plodding noise that was growing in the background. He turned back towards the others, about to ask what was up, when suddenly the shriek of a missile launch split the room. He swore, turning back around and diving into a wall alcove, even as the other warriors took their own cover.
The blast was enormous, the back wall to the lobby exploding in a blast of stone and fire. Debris rained down throughout the lobby as the warriors slowly peeked out from cover. Through the gaping hole in the wall, they could spot a titanous monstrosity, a large metal walker coated in armor and bristling with weapons crouched outside. As they watched, the shoulder missile pod’s one empty cell quickly reloaded.
The pilot grinned as he flicked a switch on the left control stick. “Preparing to fire a second shot…” he muttered to himself…
------------------
Meanwhile, Repster’s group had just hit the bottom of the elevator shaft. Quickly leaving the empty tube, they suddenly heard a massive explosion somewhere around them; Quickly, they clambered up a nearby stairwell, which spiraled upwards towards a single metal door. As they opened it, they came out into yet another empty roadway. However, it was a massive, suspended causeway that went above the 'floor' of this level of cityscape.
As they moved on, they found a small staircase that led to an apartment rooftop, the building itself travelling below the floor to another level of city. However, as they neared entering, a second massive mech, similar to the other, started plodding down the Highway. It's torso rotated, spotting the warriors on the nearby rooftop, and quickly leveled it's arms at them. Pulse laserfire started strafing the group as they quickly took various covered spot behind walls or boxes...
OoC: Well, lil' mech battle. I'm just kinda making various stuff up now ^^. Again, sorry for the long wait with little response XP

"Whoa, Jesus that was close" GD said as he duck and rolled on the ground to avoid a pulse blast which kicked up chunks of cement in the spot he had just occupied. He pulled out a DU pistol and fired a shot at it.The shot hit the energy shield but didn't do any damage to it from the sight.
"Oh, crap, I knew I should have brought something bigger, uh oh.." GD ducked as another pulse beam flew by over his head.Pulling out his second pistol he began to blaze away putting thousands of rounds into the shield with a minutes time.He stopped and jumped behind a box to reload. The mech's shield was still up and strong. And I'm running out of ammo GD thought.
"HEY REP, YOU GOT A PLAN!?" he yelled over the explosions.

OoC: Again, I apologize for really wrecking this topic. Cause, y'know, i kept you guys all waiting for almost a year and all, and scared off most of the joined members... :( Ah well, maybe the third chapter will work out better...
But anyway, we're almost done here. I'll write up a post now, to prevent previous procrastination from recurring XP
--------------------------------------------------
The second mech collapsed in a heap of slagged metal, a collage of secondary explosions from the missle bays and engine core blasting the remaining hulk into dust. Repster, GD, and the rest of their group quickly shielded their eyes from the bright bursts of energy. Eventually, the smoke started to die down, but by then the group had already left, down yet another access shaftway...
Meanwhile, Lucius slowly glanced up from his cover; the mech had left, even if momentarily, to recharge its shields from Luigi's ion barrage. He quickly motioned with his sword, and the group moved up the stairs, following him to their destination.
They stopped at a lone door, the holo-panel reading E7. Lucius, turned, nodded, and counted to three...
Repster had found yet another shaft leading further down, and the group suddenly found themselves on the roof of a red brick building. As they looked outward, they spotted a fire escape, leading down along the target building's wall. They clambered down the metal staircase, worn and rusted from many, many years of existance. They were going to continue down into the lobby, when David spotted a black ops inside one of the rooms; he could barely make out the door's label, E7. However, he couldnt see exactly how many were inside. Repster nodded, and quickly moved to bring down the door...
Simultaneously, both doors smashed inward, the warriors quickly moving into the room. The black ops commandos quickly turned, spotting their foes. They moved fast, the nearest black op towards Slife's group drawing out a rather long rifle and drawing a bead on Luigi. Firing a single shot, he was caught in the chest and hurled backwards, narrowly missing his compatriots; luckily, his armor had caught most of the blow. Lucius, glowering at his opponent, strode forwards and drew his blade. With a single slash, he brought down what would have been a killing blow; if the sheilds hadn't popped up, meeting his sword with a mere sputter of energy. Grinning, the ops reloaded his gauss rifle as the other men grabbed their blades...
OoC: Together again, together again. Now, just fighting a few more Ops guys. With bigger guns. And some light shields. Yeah. Interesting, isn't it? Well, there'll be more mutagens and mechs and fun stuff like that later. =P

"Don't worry rep, I'll protect her, just go on.... feasting" GD said with a grin on his face.
He pulled out both of his pistols and put both clips into a spec ops soldier taking his shield down and shredding him.GD reloaded, and noticed that he was on his last two clips.GD put a couple rounds into a special ops soldier after Luigi had brought his shield down.
"Thanks" he said as he holstered his pistols and drew his swords.GD had walked a couple feet awat from Leona during the couple seconds of fighting and a special ops soldier was raising his rifle towards Leona.
GD through his swords at the soldier. The first one flew to the ground taking the shield out and the other went straight into the spec ops head.Blood began to poor out all over the ground as his body slumped down to the ground in his own puddle of blood.GD picked the first one up cleaning it then withdrew the other one from the spec ops head.GD cleaned that one too and looked around to see if anyone else was threatening Leona's limp body.
Seeing that no one else was he stood by her, swords drawn, and waited for someone to.
OOC:Sorry for lack of detail, I held back because it would have been extremely gruesome if I had gone into detail.I've been reading too many warbooks lol.
