Hey, just a question: those "Attack Types"...can they be bought anywhere? I'm just wondering, because I haven't seen anything yet.

And cool, S1x. I'll have to try it out.

argh i should have it scanned first.

Oh yeah, I forgot to make it so that you will always be able to escape from it. It works now.

Uh, I still can't run. I was in the battle when you made that change. Not sure if that would affect anything, but...

I've tried that. It heals itself about ten times before running out of MP, and then uses the potions. CZ heals 90-120 damage every time it's used, so I can only get in around 5 damage per attack.

I've been able to make it to the plaza area now so the stat change has really helped. The Hippie Pirate is a demon with that double attack that rapes you for about 30hps on average. I figure once I start pouring some more point towards my def her attacks won't make as much of an impact during battle.

So far so good S1x keep up the good work :headbang:

That reminds me... what the heck does that "spell" do, other than being a waste of a turn?

Not what it's supposed to do. I haven't figured it out yet.

I found a little bug. Once you go to coast 2 it won't let you go back to coast 1. It says "No travel options avalible."

Edit: actually, there seem to be quite a few areas with this problem.

I've run into a problem with the Recovery Wind Spell.

When ever I have my pet target me with the spell, he ends up getting the HP boost?? This has happened in several different fights. Might be just a random glitch but I just wanted to make mention of it to see if anyone else had the same problem

Recovery Wind only heals the user. I believe it's done that way on purpose.

Crav has told me a lot of current things that need tweaking before I expand this any more. I think it's best if I try to balance everything out so that certain stuff doesn't feel useless or too powerful.

- You weren't able to walk back to certain places before; most of those have been fixed.
- Spell effects that didn't work before have been fixed, including the Hippie Pirate's spell.
- Scorching Breeze was found to be too broken at really high levels. It now has a cap of level 10. (If you have it and it is above level 10, please contact me)
- Pets no longer gain skill points when they level up.
- Component stats will be changing a lot.

After I'm done doing a lot of adjusting, I may want to reset all user data to make things fair. This is a heads up far in advance.

That's not the right mentality at all =/

The thing is, what about those people who have spells at a higher level than the maximum right now? What about the people that used exploits from before to have an unfairly massive amount of money or items? What if I want to change around, balance out, or even expand previous areas that certain people had already passed a long time ago? Believe me, I would never do a reset like that without a very, very good reason, and it's probably not going to happen any time soon. Still, it may need to be done at some point to put everyone on a level field.

And I'm still definitely going to do stuff that encourages people to keep playing, including a couple contests. One of my goals is to have 3 times as many areas as there currently are, with an extensive "puzzle path" that will be an extreme challenge for anybody.

Alright? ;)

^ no I meant no need playing any further untill everything is reset.

I'm all for the changes if it makes the game that much more enjoyable and fair. I just don't feel like wasting time adding to my level, gil or components if its all going to go back to zero in the near future.

I was also assuming that these changes would be made in the relative future so thats why I was more than willing to take a break. But if they are not going to happen like tommorrow then I'll still be whooping booty at the Inferno.

S1x could you re-assign all my pets skill points towards his tamming. I usually just added to his taming abilities to keep him obeying my commands but as I've gained a couple of levels he's been a real bitch.
