I'll be right back, I'm going to see if I can find any good battlefields in the book of battlefields.

okay, here's a good battlefield: The Arena
basicly, it's a circular battlefield, with people watching and surrounding it.
sort of like an old coliseum.
more rules: people who don't want to fight, can post at any time acting as if they were one in the audience.
if you don't want to team up when you join, you can be for yourself.

I'll be Ultima Link.

Ultima Link stepped into the arena, sword in hand. He heard footsteps in front of him. Ultima Link turned and saw another warrior, his opponent.
"Ladies aand gentlemen," the announcer said."Welcome to the Arena!!
We have an extremely exciting Gunjin battle today, featuring the hero of Hyrule, Link! He has many fans here today! And now, for the battle to begin!"

[Jere]

"Ohh this is exiting my first arena forumish battle since i watched the Nintendoland deathmatches this could be fun" Jere said and turned to the guy to his right.

The man obivus dead from an arrow that had missed its target and hit the guy in the heart is still holding a bag of potato chips.

"you mind" he sais and grabs the bag of chips "ohh and look after this please" then he puts his hat on top of the dead mans head.

"Well the excitement is killing people and i have a bag of potato chips so im good to go"

Hmm I might join in later, but for now I'm in the audience

Mushman sits in the front row, and has a bag of rotten tomatoes handy.

alright, we just need someone for me to fight, then we're good to go.
BY the way, I have to share this with you, even though you probably already know: NINTENDOLAND is being updated, and it might be tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Sits down to the left of Jere* Heh I've placed my bets and bought my junkfood, so I'm ready to enjoy this. Oh hey I hate to bother you but could you pull the arrow out of that guy's chest and hand it to me? I forgot my dagger and its not wise to be unarmed at these things the crowd can get kinda uppety now and then.

[Greenmarioman]

*sits in seat above Mushman and left to Jere*

LM: ooh, can I have some chips? I'll trade you for a ... *reaches in MM's bag* Tomato.

[Red]

MM grabs LM's arm as he reaches for the bag."And just what are you going to trade me?"

[Greenmarioman]

uh... *reaches in to pocket* a dagger?

[PK FIRE!]

Parden my reach. *Leans across Jere and yanks out the arrow. then returns to his seat.* Wow this has got to be arecord, the fight has not even started and the crowd is getting antzsy.

[Red]

"Ooh, Shiny” MM hands LM a tomato and grabs the knife, “you’ve got a deal.”

[1-up Salesman]

can someone please jump out of the crowd and fight me?

[Repster]

Chill dude, and gimme a minute... or more likely hour.

[Vapor]

Vapor walks into the audience, sits down, and puts his face in his hand in frustration.

[Red]

Mushman grabs Vapor and throws him into the arena.

[1-up Salesman]

Ultima Link turns and faces Vapor.
Announcer: Ah, finally, folks! Looks like the entertainment has begun! Vapor, has decided to battle Link! Not too smart, considering he'll get fried, but who cares as long as we get entertained! Now unsheathe your swords and beat the crap out of each other!!!!!

Ultima Link jumps forward and swings his sword. Vapor side steps and slams his fist against Ultima Link's back. Ultima Link horizontally swings his sword into Vapor's stomach.

[Vapor]

Vapor looks up, puts his face back in his hand, and thinks:
My god...what on earth has happened here...nobody cares about doing anything well-written, or even anything that has characters in it....Nothing's even more than 2 sentences long...I-I'm ashamed I ever walked in here. I need to leave. and flies away.

[1-up Salesman]

Announcer: Well folks, it appears Vapor is leaving! Oh no! Just when we had entertainment! Wait! He's hurt from that slash from Ultima Link! He's stumbling! He's falling over! He's dead! Now that's entertainment! Instead of getting a janitor to throw his dead body away, why don't we just leave it here, to be stared at! Yeah!

[Red]

“Fine, I’ll fight you.” Says Mushman as he jumps down into the arena to face Ultima Link.

Ultima Link grabs MUSHMAN, and shoves him down the toilet and flushes. "Does anyone else want to fight me?!"

[PK FIRE!]

Hmm, Mayhap I shouldn't have placed so many large bets on this fight... eh it was all properly set up so I shouldn't lose too much on this fight. Though i'm getting quite annoyed by the commentater. * He then tosses his bottle of wine at the nearest PA loudspeaker, the bottle breaks spilling its contents and shorts out the speaker with a rather entertaining lightshow of electrical sparks.* Well what do you know it was good for something after all.
