Custom RPG!
Well... that didn't work. At ALL. -_- Meh, so no one cares much; so, it Roleplaying in general, or is it just my random RPG world and stuff too long? Eh, lets find out.
This seems like a good way to get some more activity, its a concept I [strike]stole[/strike] borrowed from an old member that made some of the best RPGs in the forum; I thought it was pretty good, but he didn't stick around too long to really do much in it. Anyway, in this, you pretty much design an RPG Story, and then play it out with me running it. Pretty much anything goes just about so whatever is fine. You can be pretty simple with most descriptions if you want, but I'd prefer if you put a bit of detail into some things.
TItle: Title of your story, if you don't put one the title will just be "Username's Story".
Plot / Setting: A basic overview of the story and what type of place its set in. Plot and Setting can be pretty basic if you want, all I really need is some sort of conflict and the condition of the world really(Stuff like if there is magic or not,the technology, how life is for most).
Characters: Who you control / Who you fight for the most part. All that is needed for them is how they fight and their strengths and abilities and such. If you want to make any special abilities for characters say so; like anything else feel free to include anything extra.
Style: Mostly influences how the fights are played out. Below are a couple of basic ones, but I can't think of much else right now. If you want some other type of style that isn't here though describe it some and I'll try to do it.
- Free: No Stats, Any type of ability can be used, Fights done on a field/in an arena and any movement can be done on it.
- Semi-Free: Stats, Any type of ability can be used, Fights done on a field/in an arena, and any movement can be done on it.
- Semi-Limited: Stats, Only known abilities can be used; fights done on a field and any movement can be done.
- Limited: Stats, Only known abilities can be used, no movements.
- Strategy: Lead groups across a field in battle. State if you want small or large forces, also if you want it based on stats or such.

Title: Shy Guy RP Story
Plot/Setting: Its set in a city of Shy Guys. However the city is being bombed by the X-Naut army. The only residents are fighting for the city in the Shy Guy army. To sum it up quickly: The city is a war torn city.
Characters: Who you control: A red Shy Guy, a Blue Shy Guy and a Green Shy Guy. The enemys are X-Naut soldiers. The red Shy Guy's special abilites are fire spell like attacks, Blue Shy Guy is water based and the Green Shy Guy is wind based.
Style: I'll let you decide...
Anyway tell me if I did something wrong or if I should give more detail in a certain area.

My first RP forum endevour. I think KB needs the support, so I'll help a friend in need. I came up with all of this on the spot when I was writing the post. Boredom does that to me.
Title: The Scattering of the Yulderyn
Plot and Setting: In times below our mind's memmory, or history's memory, we saw nothing to speak of or record. Nothing of interest; not even times of conflict. Civilizations ran forward and back through a race of time, but never noticed each other or cared enough to try an allaiance. The world was spilt from neglegence; it was a time of no-ne, and no-one had time. Over ten-thousand years later, these civilizations had been built up, learning magic (that means include magic of black variety and also a bit of time magic for high wizards, explained later.) and weapon-smithing. They had ammased crude armies, and wealth beyond imagining. Infinite rescourse, infinite time layed behind them, but people who knew nothing of battle. Thier fat, greedy kings wanted wealth from foreign kngdoms, and a war of inexperience broke loose. They placed their high-wazards in charge, known as Yulderyn, and then they battled with no desire or hardened steel, merely magic and stone...
Characters:
King Herverous: Master of the realm of Hulnuk, the outermost and wealthiest realm. He is ill-bred and selfish, even more so than the other rulers.
Yulderin of Hulnuk: Felm, Kurst, and Fermelisk Each of these three are masters of black magic. They are choosable by the players of this RPG, and commanded by anyone who is wealthier than thier own ruler. The king himself is their innitial commander. If no-one chooses to play as these wizards, I will use them myself.
King Jarvis Kol: The only king who is a Yulderyn. He rules the inner kingdom of Gulo, and is in the middle of the war. He is his nation's own Yulderyn, and is selectable as a commander character and as a yulderyn as well. He is the most versatile of all. He also is the only weapon wielding character available, wielding a stone axe.
King Fyuk: The silent but pot-bellied and angry king of Ervile, he is merely a commander, but not nearly as much of a useful commander as the other kings.
The Yulderyn of Ervile: Reskos, Mazhurn, and Kilse. These are time magic users, each one more greedy than the next. They are highly powerful, however, if not a bit stupid and senile. They are each old, unlike the Yulderyn of the other kingdoms. Each is a choosable player, and each must be taken.
Minimal people required to start this RP: 4, but more can join. Each person can select three lead characters, but if they select a king, they are limited to him and a guard character of thier own making.
Style: Strategy/free. This is a game of strategy, in a way; if you choose a king, you can use an army and strike another player's kingdom. If you choose a mage, you can play a dark and seedy quest around the lands to kill the other Yulderyn and assassinate the kings. You can also create a thief character of your own making for more lighthearted RPing. Each 'move' must be played out like an RPing move, as in you must write it out like a story. Sound simple enough? NO STATS. You know how anti-stat I am...
Yeah, you can decide the magic type for king Jarvis Sol. Whoever chooses him, that is. I'll be playing as a renegade Yulderyn who doesn't work for any of the countries and uses meteor-magic: Dentrek.
KB, you can structure and organize this, but please keep it free-form and remember to be creative when deciding how the strategy will play in. I think it'll be a challenge. Good luck!

Technically these are supposed to be one player sort of things; but I suppose it could work out if you could get a few other people interested. Thats the main problem with it though, its kind of hard to get interest for these sort of things. If you still want to try it I'll make it I guess, but I'm not sure if you would have enough people to join in...

I've been thinking of doing a roleplaying setting set in a Final Fantasy world. Not in line with any game in particular, but it just needs to have elemental crystals, Warriors of the Light, Chocobos, Moogles, Airships, and a middle-aged engineer named Cid.
I bought the remakes of FF3 and 5 at least a month ago or two, and they've occupied the slots of my DS ever since, as I've been playing them constantly. They both have one thing in common: You basically have the same 4 player characters with you throughout the entire game, but they can be one of over 20 classes that you can switch between as you see fit.
For this RP, however, the players should choose a character with one class and stick with it, building the character around said class kinda like FF4.

Well, I have a bit of an idea of how the story goes. The world is divided into five continents, each one powered by one of the four elemental crystals and a neutral continent. The kingdoms have been lured into a false sense of peace, but there is a great evil stirring within. Four "Warriors of the Darkness" have been called upon by this evil force to do its bidding. A Dark Knight, a Necromancer, an Assassin, and a Berserker...

Meh... I kind of want to have it in the format I put in the first post of this topic. I could try with it right now with what you put, but its sort of hard to do without me making a bunch of classes to start off with in the opening post to pick from. ...and I really don't want to have to do that much work considering all I need is a simple description of any characters you want to play as/against...

Title: Super Smash Bros. RP Story
Story: Master Hand teleports the 24 stars of ssbm (minus Dr. Mario and plus the new people of ssbb minus pit) to another tournament. Heroes Mario, Luigi and Link suspect something strange, and go off on an adventure to find out what he's tryna pull with this tournament. With Master Hand saying "This will truly be the final and most satisfying tournament ever for me," the heroes take it literally and are going on a quest to exterminate the evil that lies in Final Destination.
Characters: (The ones I stated above) and the Main characters are MH, CH, Mario, Luigi and Link.
Style: None of the above. Think of a Zelda Engine. Then think of how each character has unique abilities in Nicktoons Unite. Then think of stats. You travel across a huge field, entering dungeons, fighting bazillions of enemies,(unlike Zelda, Nicktoons Unite has enemies taking up the whole damn screen) gaining levels and skills as you progress. Be one who has a lot of physical strength, be one who knows tons of skills, be a weapons specialist, or a balance between all of them. Also, don't forget overall levels.
Luigi has electricity based magic, Mario has fire, and Link has Light. Anyone can wear any eqipment, but I'd need a huge list to list it all. But fire example, Link can use a fireflower, wear super boots, and firehand gloves. Furthermore, the Mario Bros. can wield the Master Sword, and the Mirror Shield.

Well, I wasn't wanting it to be like that. I was thinking it would be a freestyle RPG where there isn't a real game master. Everyone is a character in the world, each with their own roles.
