well, it's still cannon because toriyama was involved, which means SSj 4 is official, but I didn't feel it necessary to go to 4 for our fight. besides, I still actually havent figured out how to get Inferno to go Gold Ozaru to push him into 4 because gold Ozaru is a necessary step before he can become 4.

Battlefield rules and guidelines.

4. This is going to sound weird, but Assume that you and your enemy are more or less even. He can be infinitely stronger than you, or you can be a lot faster than him, or whatever...but overall they should be an even match for each other, even if it's not in similar areas. For example, a character from Dragonball Z would be on equal footing with a character from Harry Potter. It's weird, but it's how we keep things fair.

Upgrading forms, over and over and over? Your supposedly increasing yourself... yet you are STILL on equal footing.

Want a perfect example?

If Aidan actually had laid a hand on the girl, she'd have been dead . Yet we were evenly matched enough for the barest difference in score.

So researching durability of something that has no real benchmark? Pointless. Don't concern yourself with about power and durability compared to other sources, it's not applicable. It only counts on your difference with your opponent.

It's not about what you use, it's HOW. "It's not the cards in your hand, it's how you play them" So on and so forth.

Of course, that's coming form the one who is relieved Erdawn pulled out so I don't have to fight my bias of giving him the win after his intro... Yet it stills stands.

Your also concerning yourself with canon? This is complete fiction, canon is pointless. Especially when you consider inferno's nature...

...Also GT was never canon. It was, at best, fanfiction that got turned into an animated series. Toriyama set down the initial premise and some character sketches, but he had nothing to do with the larger plot of the series and his creative control bordered on nil.

I don't know why I felt compelled to say that.

the cannon I'm concerning myself with is my own character's, the battles I have on here help me define him more for my manga and sometimes I might actually incorperate a story topic Inferno was involved in on here for my manga. in fact the 5 part "shadows" story arc I did was based on this one 2-vs-1 battle I had with seraph and dark magus against me which kind of morphed into a story battle against Tiamat and the demonic saiyan dark master. but anyway, I had to reset his history since issue 11 because I hadn't thought his origin out enough when I did issue zero.

anyway, I reset his origin from being geneticly spliced with saiyan DNA at birth to just being born from a saiyan mother and a dragon father and his mother being none other than Goku's saiyan mother who is still yet unnamed. (I really need a name for her, and contrary to popular belief it's not fasha, fasha was not goku's mom. and there were only two places where goku's mom could have been when vegeta went boom and that's either off world or in the hospital complex, I tend to believe the former due to there being at least 7 saiyans off world when vegeta blew up.)

anyway I've rambled on enough about my character's cannon, and I'll try to keep him more ballanced for the rest of the tournament.

It's crazy stuff like this which made me want to join in, since a good enough writing style can cripple even the most complex plotline which is trying to demand the death of your character.

But instead, I went to the Southwest and made good friends and saw lotsa crazy stuff.

Don't worry about balancing, Inferno. Just don't be suprised if the guy you're fighting beats your skull in despite you being SSJ4.

I don't think I used the name of an actual street drug, but instead described a poison I injected into an opponent via my fangs that resembled the high you get from heroin or mescaline.
