FFIV DS Coming to NA

#1

Post by X-3 » Tue Apr 01, 2008 12:09 pm

Just got my new NP, and FFIV DS is the main coverage. There's picture of an English version, so I'm assuming it's coming over here. I'll have to read more, but for now, rest easy with the news that it's coming over here.

From what I've read, Dark Cecil's "Dark Wave" has been cut again in exchange for the ability Dark Knights had in FFIII DS: you know, hitting all enemies, while giving up HP. Paladin Cecil now will learn Raise, Shell and Protect. Edward is still Spoony, but he has gained many new song...stuff. And Porom's Cry ability now inflicts a physical-defense reduction on all enemies.

Sounds badass. Not sure if a relase date has been announced, but I'll keep reading.

I'm super cereal, CSM.

No, really, I'm telling the truth. Unless NP sent a joke copy to their subscribers.

Read it briefly, not much else to say besides what I've said. That Lunar Cavern thing from the end of the FFIV Advance has been cut, but there are instead hidden bosses. And there are these things called "auguments".

Oh, and apparently there's going to be a DS version of Disgaea, but that's not related. But it's still niiiiice.

Curses!

I have no scanner, so no scans for you, unless I find some on the Internet or something.

Besides, the issue is the July 2008 issue.

It's just a funny coincidence I got it today.

A shame that Lunar dungeon has been cut: I liked it, and the little scenarios each character was given. Like Kain's. That was badass.
