Sorry for the wait. Computer troubles and such... Also, in case you didn't know, you get to use one of the Wings abilities during your turns as well if you want to.

You prepare to use Deadly Blow, next attack has increased chance to critical hit.

The wolves move into melee range.

I'm aware, I just think with such limited uses on my Wing's part, I'll save it for when I think I really need it.

So I'll commence with Deadly Blow on Great Wolf.

I'll also hope I don't die.

EDIT: In fact, also use Devil's Gambit, otherwise I'll take massive damage.

Alright... my own computer is working again. I'll try not to let the topics fall too far behind from now on.

You attack the Great Wolf twice with Blazing Sword, hitting for 110 damage, defeating it.
Wolf attacks you for 10 damage.
Wolf attacks you but misses.
Wolf attacks you for 10 damage.

Does using an item count as a turn?

Either way, I'd like to use a Lt. Potion and, if possible, attack Wolf A

Yeah, using an item uses up a turn. By the way, if you want to feel free to state multiple moves or a general strategy for battles. Its easier and faster to do overall.

You use a Lt. Potion, healing 30HP.
Wolf attacks you. Hits for 10 damage.
Wolf attacks you. Hits for 10 damage.
Wolf attacks you. Hits for 10 damage.

. . .

Well, damn.

I obviously cannot win this battle by these means, because I don't particularly want to use Devil's Gambit again, it seems like Star Uses are very limited.

Run. And if that fails but I somehow live next turn, Run again.

They're limited... but not that limited. Technically you have 7 uses of it left, and it restores itself automatically... although honestly I haven't decided how quickly it does or anything like that. You probably could have beaten them anyway, Blood Requiem would let you kill one outright, and then even if they all hit again you would still survive. But whatever, doesn't matter.

You run from the wolves; oddly they don't seem very interested and ignore you. You gain 20exp from defeating the Great Wolf, though not much else.

After running until the wolves are out of your sight you look around, finally spotting the town ahead of you. As you enter you look around. There are several kids playing in the center of town, some men walking around, and a small group of women gossiping. Along with them is a young couple standing in front of an item shop, a man entering what looks like a blacksmith, and a young boy away from most of the others, looking outside of town with a somewhat worried expression.

Well, yeah, I could've used Blood Requiem and killed one, but then I would've had 5 HP left. =\ It would've been possible, just not worth it, and very risky.

Anyway, I approach any relevant adult and ask them about where I can find a doctor, or some sort of treatment.

You begin to talk to people at random.

Woman: Doctor? Well... we don't really have one, most people around here gather herbs and make their own medicine or just buy some at the store; if its something we can't cure out here we'll send someone out with them for help in another town.
Man: Eh, doesn't look that bad. Just bandage it up a bit and get some rest, you'll be fine.

In town: Item shop, Blacksmith, Inn, Market.

Are the Inns mysteriously helpful (Full Heal for sleeping? I'll bite!) like in Final Fantasy, or are they a little more realistic, like D&D?

I hadn't really planned out far, so I'll use the system on one of my older ones... You can sleep wherever you want, and it will heal a bit everything (probably about 25% of the max of everything). Inns heal slightly more(lets go with half), and they have the advantage of you not being robbed/attacked in your sleep.

Inn Cost: 30gp.

You know, I feel kind of bad, resting at the Inn while a kid is off probably being killed.

=\ I still need to heal, though. I'll talk to the kid about why he's looking so troubled, seeing as how he is a likely candidate for the one who posted the mission.

Then I might rest at the Inn. I'll see how talking to the kid goes.

You speak to the worried kid and ask him if he is Nian Telart.

"Yes, thats me. Umm... are you from the club?" You nod and he resumes speaking, growing frantic as he continues on. "Okay, well... my friend and I were out playing by the woods the other day when I lost track of him. I looked for a few hours but couldn't find him at all, when I went out for help no else found him either. I'm really worried about him, so can you help?"
