You travel to the Mission center at the edge of the club's perimeter. As you enter the room and look around you see 3 other people talking, each of which seems to be a fighter as well. Aside from other members, there is also a man sitting behind a desk, with a large board placed right next to it. On the board are various cards, each with a mission and some details placed on it. The following are posted on the board

1- Potion wanted: My friend was injured recently and I want a potion to help speed his recovery. Difficulty:V. Low.
2- Bodyguard: I'm travelling to the town of Lorul soon, passing through some dangerous territory. I would like a bodyguard to protect me on this trip. Difficulty: Medium.
3- Robbed: My store was robbed and no one else has been much help. Find the thieves and get back what was taken from me. Difficulty: Medium.
4- Raid: Defenses have been pumped up in the town of Rham, our leader wants more muscle for our attack on them. Difficulty: Low. (Rep V)
5- For Honor: I was recently attacked and humiliated in front of everyone. I want to get back at them, but want to do so by my own strength. I'm not strong enough, and would like someone to help train me for this. Difficulty: High.

(Can't think of much else right now, but I'll make more later. For the fourth mission (Rep V) means it will lower your reputation. Less missions will come up, with the few ones it leads to lowering reputation even further. But aside from that they're generally good as far as rewards go.)

You take the card from off the board and hand it to the man behind the desk. He looks around for a second before taking out a couple of papers.

"Alright then. The guy who sent this is Malav Nirei, a shopkeeper in Galan. The town is to the south, its not too far, probably a few hours on foot. But if you want then you can check the stables for a faster ride down. He offers 200 gold as pay, and also something from his shop if you do it successfully. That good?"

If the horse doesn't cost more than 50 gold, I'll take one. Otherwise, I will proceed by foot.

Oh yeah, I want to buy a couple of healing potions afterall but nothing more. So I'll stop by the shop.

Stables have more than just horses technically. The animals they give alter the travel speed and also can fight in battles you get into. Overall though, I'd probably say they aren't worth it unless time is a factor or if the area you're going to a dangerous area. So I guess I'll skip it for now unless you want to see them.

I'll get three light potions and skip the stables for now. I'll head out south towards the neighboring town.

You leave the club's grounds and head southward. After about 2 hours of travel with very little happening you spot some monsters in the distance; a group of 4 slimes of various colors. They aren't that far away, but you could possibly avoid them if you tried.

He observed the slimes in the distance oozing around and smirked. He looked down at his star on his jacket and back at the slime.

"This'll be my first time I get to use the real deal" he thought to himself.

He took a deep stride as he approached his first real challenge.

For future reference, most monsters don't have defenses, or in the least the weaker ones don't.

You attack the blue slime with Brutal Strike for 89 damage.
Red Slime fuses with Yellow Slime. Forms Beast Slime Orange.
Green Slime uses Acid. You get poisoned and defense is reduced next turn.

Narcier - HP:65 MP:10 EP:20 : Status - Poison (5 turns)
Forge - HP:60
v
Green Slime - HP:50
Beast Slime O - HP:100

You attack and defeat the Green slime in one hit. You take 5 damage from poison.
Beast Slime Orange uses Slime Burst. Creates a small orange slime and will inflict 30 damage to you. You can use EP to reduce the damage you take from this attack if you want to.

Narcier - HP:60 MP:10 EP:20 : Status - Poison (4 turns)
Forge - HP:60
v
Beast Slime O - HP:80
Mini Slime O - HP:20

Mini Slime attacks for 0 damage.
You attack and destroy the mini slime. (Why bother dragging this out?)

Narcier - HP:20 MP:10 EP:15 : Status - Poison (2 rounds)
Forge - HP:60

Want to use a potion or just continue onward?

You gain 40 experience from the fight and find a Blue Gel.

Blue Gel - Restores 10HP and for 3 turns gives user water element. Inflicts water based damage on attacks and takes more damage from lightning.

You use a potion, bringing your HP up to 50 (Although technically it will only be 40 due to the poisons effects)

You travel further south, the effects of the poison somewhat slowing you down, though not enough to stop you. You travel uneventfully for 2 hours; spotting the village of Galan in the distance, also spotting a cat laying in the field by the path to the village.

If I can, I'll try to avoid the cat and get into the village without harm.
