Including, and ESPECIALLY, World of Warcraft. And all the memes that go with it.

Who wants to spent $100 on a game and then 10 bucks a month to play it? -CSM

I've always thought it annoying having to pay more each month too.

That's why I only play Tibia and AdventureQuest.

It's the "Keep paying us after you bought the game" Mechanic!

It's FUN! And Easy to use!

$100 for a game? Where the heck do you live, CSM, Australia? The only game I've ever seen with a $100 price tag were Valkyrie Profile and imported Japanese games like Kingdom Hearts Final Mix 2+ or Tales of Destiny remake. Maybe if you got a collector's edition, but even the WoW and Guild Wars special-editions didn't cost $100...

Here's what I find odd about MMORPGs...If you look at their forums (Especially World of Whinecraft's), they're full of hundreds of players whining, bitching, and moaning about something and complaining the developers can't get anything right. Apparently, they're doing something right - They're still paying the monthly fee and logging on.

^Yeah, but you don't have to dwonload it at all, unless you want to raid and all that crap.

Two things MMORPGs have that I like: the fact that I can play with others online(I still like that feature), and the fact that they keep updating with patches and stuff.

I just prefer to play strategy games over Battle.net. It's free and it doesn't have the huge meme thing. -CSM

Plus, Battle net supports starcraft, the best strategy game. Ever.

Buying WoW plus the expansion's only $60 (Plus sales tax).

But if you wanted to buy a Guild Wars campaign and its one expansion pack, it's $70-90. (Depending on which one you get) Unless you decided to get a collector's edition, I don't really know any MMORPG that costs about $100...

The main thing the bothers me about most MMORPGs is the monthly fee. I don't have the extra money to be paying $15 bucks a month for a game I probably won't be playing every single day. Plus, some of the dumbest people to play video games play MMORPGs:

^I haven't plyed Xbox live, so I wouldn't know. But yeah, I guess there's a fair share of dip****s playing any online game. The main difference being you don't always have to deal with them during other games, but there's not much you can do when one starts following you in an MMORPG.

So what we want is a chat program with elves and an IQ test to enter?
