I don't think much of Shrek and co. The first film was too smirkingly, self-congratulatingly clever; I can stand only so much of that before I start throwing shoes at the screen.

I saw it a few hours ago. Some parts were hilarious, but sometimes movies get annoying when all the stupid little kids and their parents behind you laugh like blithering idiots at EVERYTHING that happens, causing you to miss out on a joke. Puss in Boots waas the best character,

(PSUEDO-SPOILER)

and the best part was the COPS parody "Knights" when they confiscate the catnip for Puss in Boots and he's like "It's not mine man".

(END PSUEDO SPOILER)

Overall, pretty good.

Well, the commercials mainly come out BEFORE the movies are released, to build up hype and crap like that. Now that it's been released and any kid that lives within 20 miles of a movie theater has seen it, hopefully there'll be less commercials.

Saw the movie. I thought it was much better than the first. There's a lot of subtle references that the kids won't get, or that nobody at all will catch, with the exception of a few people.

When Shrek, Donkey, and Puss are in the bar, miserable, Puss is drinking milk, and he says "I hate Mondays..", a reference to Garfield. Surprisingly, nobody in the theater seemed to catch that one besides me and my dad.

Saw it. Pretty funy. My biggest gripe is that I saw the "twist" with the king at the end coming miles away.

I was the only one in the theater laughing when the Starbucks got attacked and everyone ran into the Starbucks across the street. Almost every Starbucks I know of they have one either across or one block away from it. I liked that they poked fun at that.

And the Mission Impossible Refrence was hilareous when Pinnochio dangled down like that and he was wearing the you-know-what.

I loved the movie.

I laughed at "I Hate Mondays" too, but luckily some other people got it.
