Kind of... but then again, if it makes enough revenue I can totally, totally see them making another one. Maybe a "prequel" of some sorts. You must be kidding.

EXACTLY. Today's society is too obsessed with explosions and profanity. Look! The Matrix requires some thought! Imagine that! Most of the people who hate Reloaded are the ones who just don't want to think in what seems like an action movie. Same goes for Revolutions. Like some actor on the Reloaded bonus DVD says, The Matrix can be seen on 1000 levels. Some people will get 1, others 789, and some all 1000.Originally posted by MagnuM - Komrade In Koopa:
The matrix is a philosophical and symbolic trilogy. To understand it requires you to THINK! This is why most people say things like "Reloaded sucked" and stuff like that. I did not think it sucked. It's purpose was to bridge the story, as all middle films in a trilogy usually do. And as for that "father of the matrix" or architect scene in Reloaded, most people just let it go right over their head. Either they were blown away by the crazy vocabularily used, or forget to think. Or perhaps they didn't care and just see the Matrix for it's action scenes. Then I could see why these people wouldn't like it. I like thought-provoking movies like this which cause you to think and develop theories and come up with many questions. And understanding everything takes a certain amount of wit.
D'OH! That's why she's in the mud after he is destroyed! He's using her original code for most of that scene! Thanks for clearing that up!He saw it with his "oracle powers." He was trying to understand the vision so he would know what to do to end it all.
