Guys, I REALLY don't think boss difficulty is affected by the mode. I've played both, and the only difference I see are the special abilities and the items.

Well, the version I've played, the bosses have much more HP, their hits are stronger, their defense is tougher, etc. And in regular fights, the enemies don't give as much experience or gold, and the items in shops are inversely varied to this, being much more expensive.

Biggest thing was the status healing items in the hardtype. They had one for basically every single status effect I think, and some got really expensive, like 1000 gold per item. I mean really, who would want to buy an item which cures petrify one time for the same price as a cabin. (I'm not sure about those prices being the same, but I remember they were close at least) Much easier when you just had "heal" for 10 gold, which would get rid of anything. :D

If anything, the enemies give more exp, because I finished FF4 at higher levels than FF2 with no additional training (or difficulty).

Well, did you play the one from Anthologies or a ported rom? I went with the original SNES translated FF4 rom.

A ROM.

FuSoYa shouldn't even be considered a character. He's just a cameo. But Edge is the man.
