FF4 because when I first owned it back in the day you couldn't beat the coolness of Kain doing the Jump attack. Oh yea and there was other stuff like character development and story and some fun/tough battles.
FF9 because it had an awesome story that wasn't all confusing (I hate how lots of people think that stories need to be confusing and twisted). Possibly the most well-developed characters I've ever seen in a game, except for Quina. The battles ruled even though Freya's Jump attack was pitifully stupid, but Dagger also has the best Bahamut Summon EVER!
FF9 because it had an awesome story that wasn't all confusing (I hate how lots of people think that stories need to be confusing and twisted). My fav of all time is FF4, which I'm playing right now, then comes FF7, for the really good plot, then comes
FF6 is extremely overrated.
