I am wondering how you guys can make such loads of cash! And some of you make 100 000 Bells a day without even fishing! How is this even possible?

You save what you've done by reloading it on your GCN. You can also put it into sleep mode until that time. When it's in sleep mode it uses almost no power at all, so you don't need to worry about your batteries unless you leave it that way for days on end.
