After you've made a pattern, go to the pattern display screen and choose "use pattern". Then the game will ask you if you want to use it on your shirt, umbrella, or if you're indoors, your floor or walls.

Almost EVERYONE in town is wearing the American Flag shirt. I have 15 people in my town, 8 of them are wearing it, 2 of them are wearing my cousin Maria's Love Design, which had red hearts and the letters "M+G" on them. Thats not even her last name....and 2 others are wearing some fruity heart shirt, and the other 3 are normal.

I just made Mario's face on one of the shirts. He looks AWESOME and identical. My Nintendo Power tought me how to do the hat, eyes, nose, mustache, and mouth. It is so cool I love this game and this suit!! I also made the Batman symbol.

a hell of a lot of people in my town were wearing a shirt I designed that was black with a solo yellow stripe at the bottom of it.
