If you don't use the Memory Card given to you with Animal Crossing, can you still play all the NES games?

...you see, I rented Animal Crossing.And I had to return it today. I tried to get on yesterday to get the pear and give you your cherry, but...
I DO plan on buying it, but... until I do, which will take 1-2 something days... well... Eeepers! I is sorry! I be quick about getting your cherry, if'n you dun get one elsewheres.... (I'm happy though, because Oxford the Bull gave me a peach! His mom sends him fruit, but he was mad becauseshe treats him like a baby, and gave one to me...)
And yes, my name and town are not captialized. I was too stupid to figure out whut button made caps when I started my game. Fufu!

I was WONDERING if the animals would know tomorrow is fall! Fufu! How cute! And I've also been wondering how the whole fruit-tree thing works in winter. No fruit in winter, right? And... I can't plant stuff in fall? It won't grow big enough in time? Poopers. Well, I can certainly HARVEST during fall, my cherry trees seem to be doing nothing but growing more cherries...
You know, I've been debating whether to get this game or Mario Sunshine, and I haven't been able to rent Mario... but I think I'll get AC.

To my understanding you can still grow things in the fall and winter, they just have a much higher chances of dieing. I'm not sure about fruit in the winter.
