Sorry about your name, Capt. Hayfever.Oh, and just to correct the question, the CARTOON was based on the comic, even though the cartoon was shown on T.V. first. The people making the cartoon just used the theme from a comic yet to come ( at that time it was). Oh well, doesn't matter.

Final boss, or emerald boss? ( I don't know if there is an emerald boss in Sonic the Hedgehog 1, but I did get to one in Sonic 3d)
