Could Somebody Tell Me Something About Mega Man X Command Mission?
During the Toys R' Us Buy 2 Get One Free sale, I bought Mega Man X7. I was hoping it would be free, because I thought Maximo 2 was also $30, but as it turns out Toys R' Us was having another small sale where Maximo 2 was $10 off, thus it was the free one (Interesting. The visit before that I went into Toys R' Us and got the first Maximo for free). "Oh well. I guess I can see it as getting it for $10." I said to myself, because I thought I was going to end up hating it like everyone else.
I feel like such a weirdo. I actually found Mega Man X7 very enjoyable. And now I really want Mega Man X Command Mission. The only reviews I've been able to find on it (I don't bother with GameFAQs anymore) were GameInformer's 6/10 which I'm obviously not paying attention to because they compared Mega Man X7 to the CD-i Zeldas, Mario is Missing, and Earthworm Jim 3D (I never read their actual review, but if they compare it to those they must've given it 2.5/10 or something), and the Mega Man Homepage's 80%, but I never understood what exactly the percentage at MMHP means.
Also, does anyone know which version is better? I'm leaning towards the PS2 version, because it has an X8 demo and I don't really care about the GBA hookup the GCN version has. Well, and I alreay have my fair share of GCN games.
Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! Hop in line and follow them there!

Out of curiosity, who did you you two play as? I used Axl through 98% of the game, and found it quite enjoyable as him.

I agree with you. Only an absolute fan of Megaman would like that game. Now MMX:CM is an ok game. It's like a traditional RPG, but it's a bit slow. </font>[/QUOTE]I am a hardcore MM fan, and that game made my balls shrink to walnuts. =POriginally posted by superplyr10:

Eh, too late. I won an auction for a brand new MMX:CM, PS2 version, for about $33 including the shipping and a for some reason required insurance (the actual thing only cost $27). But hey, if I was able to get $30 worth of fun out of X7, then I should be able to get the $30 out of Command Mission.
But hey, I won a brand new Rygar: The Legendary Adventure for only $15 including shipping - half of what Gamestop wants for a new one. Although that was a week ago, and it still hasn't showed up...
I actually played through X7 twice. The first time, I switched around some, and lost about 10% of the reploids. The second time, I saved all the reploids and had everything on Axl. I think the only times I used someone else were (A) that tank in the Deep Jungle where you have to use Zero's double jump to get, (B) a reploid on the Battleship I couldn't seem to reach as Axl, so I used Zero's double jump (C) a reploid in the Magma Factory that I thought I had to use X's glide to get, but actually had to turn Axl into one of those flying things to reach.
Although I do admit that I was a bit annoyed with the game at first. Somehow my PS2's left analog stick was slightly tilted, and thus I thought the 3D modes were done with your character constantly moving forward. And the first level I tried was Ride Boarski's. Ouch.
