Pzirm just said that Gamecube wasn't an exclusively kiddy system. What are you talking about Shane?

This I agree with. Nintendo knows it.

I'll say it again: kidiness and maturity are both states of mind. If you can't enjoy a game just because it has bright colors, you are immature and need to check yourself. If you are a self confident individual, however, it shouldn't matter what you're playing as long as you enjoy it.

I keep hearing about Nintendo having no adult gamers but I keep wondering what happened to the NES generation. Did they all die off or something?

How would you know that now? I'm sure a sizeable amount of both the NES and SNES generation are still supporting Nintendo. Some, not as much as they use to, but many still are.

Many adults are onboard- mostly from old times.

N64 never had games so why would people buy it? It did poorly because it had a poor library of games. That's the only reason why it never did too well.

17 is old enough. Last time I checked 17 year olds were old enough to watch R rated movies and play M rated games. So I don't see your point about 17 year olds not being adults, because that is obviously not true.

Since you say however, that the average N64 owner was 17, don't you think that those people would have age over the 4 or 5 years owning an N64? So they're like what now? 21? 22? And now own a GameCube. So how is it now that GC doesn't have a sizeable mature audience?

17 year olds are adults. The age limit on Mature games are 17 and up. The age limit on R rated movies are 17 and up. It doesn't matter what you want to call an adult, the entertainment industry has a different opinion. And I know you're going to keep beating around the bush, but until you can answer me why 17 year old "kids" can watch R rated films and legallly play M rtated games, your argument is grossly invalid.
