Many adults watch the Simpsons. And there are no kids to drag in front of the TV either.

So cartoons aren't for kids anymore, huh?

I wasn't aware that there was a Simpsons sitcom on sale. Where can I get one?

And whats the difference between the Lion King and the Simpsons? And what is so fundamentally different about them that adults will watch one but absolutely refuse to watch the other?

And Shrek is not an animated movie like Toy Story and Chicken Run?

You said that cartoons are for kids. You have yet to prove that theory.

Lara Croft is Shrek? WTF?

You have yet to give me a reason why so many adults would love Simpsons and not the Lion King.

I will play along with this. Are Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Sylvester overwhelmingly enjoyed by children? I don't think so. There as just as many adults, as there are children, who enjoy watching a good episode of Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck.

Shrek and Toy Story are animated movies. There no fundamental differences between the 2. Right.

I don't see what Lion King being a ripped off fairytale has to do with anything. I certainly don't agree that it is but how many movies being released now are completely original? Practically none. It's all be done before and it's all be said already. That has no bearing on this subject whatsoever.

Bugs Bunny are all classics that adults, just as much as children, love to enjoy.

You said Shrek is different from Lion King for some reason. I'm tryoing to establish what are the differences between the two. None that I could think of. They're both kids movies, so why is it that one can be enjoyed by adults but the other cannot? That is the question I've been asking since 5 posts ago. But you still have not given me an answer so far.

And Shrek isn't a bedtime story? Again, like what da fvck?

You'd see car commercials now wouldn't you? Why would tv networks show car commercials during cartoons when adults aren't watching? Interesting question, isn't it?

Then why not Zelda?

Fairy tale story. Granted, a bit different but it's still happy lived ever after in the end.

I wasn't aware that Cartoon Network had a monopoly on the cartoon industry. Correct me if I'm wrong. I watch the WB, Fox, UPN and others some Saturday mornings and I see Toyota commercials all the time. Very strange for Saturday morning cartoons, don't you think?

I'm surprised at you Shane. I thought that you were a little more enlightened than that. I guess I was wrong.
