Character-wise, Cloud, by parsects. Physically, Squall. Lionheart, people. FF8 was a step-up from ff7 in sheer power.

In story terms, Cloud could eat Squall for breakfast. Sprinkled overh is bran flakes. After dicing him up with his huge sword.

In game terms, Squall would probably win unless Cloud had what you call a "Final Attack + Knights of the Round" materia combo. The Lionheart is too damned powerful.

SQUALL. Squall would beat Cloud and his Hammer Pants (From AI) with Lionheart.


And my squall was doing over 100,000 damage to Ultemacia(sp) with his super-cool-limits-So he'd probably slaughter cloud faster than high-level vets slaughter the noobs in Runescape. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Squall. Logic would denote that Squall would be able to compare the puny blade size of his gunblade to Cloud's huge buster sword, and just shoot at him from afar to win. I finally found a use for logic!

Anyway, I'm going with Cloud because of... well... surviving a giant sword through his guts during one of the cutscenes. And he's not from FF8.
