It's pretty good, considering it's free. You'll probably need to have some basic musical knowledge (like where notes are on the staff or keyboard), but that would be the case with any music software.
Whoo, at first I didn't even notice that was post 7000 for me (even though I had just noticed I had 6999 posts a minute ago, it didn't click for some reason). Cool.
