Who cares about baseball when my giants, cubs, or dodgers are not in it. its really going to be a borring world series.

remember the nba finals last year? well thats how borring its going to be. no one is going to be watching it.

just like the nfl championship is going to be like this year....borring.

I'd rather have a decent team with genuine, homegrown talent than a team that wins the playoffs half the time because they buy their way through it. Think of it: the only reason the Yanks have players like Clemens and Boone is because they suddenly decided to demand a stupid amount of money that few other franchises could afford. This is why we need a salary cap.

And don't give me crap about capitalism *eyes Bolt.* This is baseball, not Economics 101. Besides, capitalism is the same system that allows companies like Microsoft to kick some global ass. Not that I have anything against capitalism, I just think it's moronic to try and apply it to baseball.
