FFXII. Vaan is Tidus' long lost twin brother. Other than that it isn't a bad game. Although I wish they keep with certain names (I.E. Espers should be kept with GF's and Mist attacks(Trance/Overdrive) should have been called Limits.) And I am missing random battles.
FFI, II, III, IV, V, VI and XI not played any of these long enough to pass judgement expect XI which I don't have at all.
FFVII (and spin offs) Can never keep awake long enough to play it. Seriously, I wake up in the morning start playing this and a few seconds later, be back in the land of nod. DoC isn't that bad, but isn't a proper FF.

I always steal a lot during Final Fantasy games. I remember starting out in IX, and each of my party members had the "Steal" command, and I thought "jackpot". In fact, I think I used Zidane to only steal stuff (until they ran out of stealables), so eventually his Thievery skill dealt, like, nine thousand damage.
Also fun in Tactics is to make a team of thieves. I'd leave the enemy naked, in the street, without armour nor weapon. Due to this, I ended up with a team of ninjas, which was also très cool.

Yes. Stealing is fun. Getting 99 of each item is fun. FFIX is probably the best Stealing experience, FFVII is probably the worst. -CSM

You couldn't really steal any good stuff in FF8 anyway. Everything in it could be won from enemies.

You are both newbs, the game was fine. Just that Time Compression sucked. Bad.

VIII to me was more of an experiment, like the Sphere grid. *Smites the Sphere Grid with a Pow Hammer*
I honestly can't get into XII...I keep getting the feeling that Vaan and Penelo don't really hold that much plot significance...especially Penelo. It really seems like the game's more about Balthier, Ashe, and Baasch. I also get the feeling that I'm not really playing the game...It seems to just play itself once in combat.
...That, and it bothers me of how bloody dirty the characters look. Especially Vaan and Baasch. It looks like someone rubbed their faces and stomachs in a barrel full of grease or oil. Every time I see them during cutscenes, I wonder why someone can't just give Vaan a washcloth.

That's because they DON'T. They have NO plot significance. Don't try to fight the feeling. They're pointless.
And the Sphere Grid was infinitely better and more interesting than the License Board, which to me was the worst and most boring system ever invented.-jay

XII is my favorite. Except when I try to buy new armor/accesories/weapons and remember that I haven't unlocked them on the license board. And then I bash my head into the wall and cry. *hates the license board with a passion*
X is a close second. Simply because I like turnbased battle systems that require even a little bit of strategy. Even if that strategy is "Rikku steals, Lulu casts whatevertheenenmiesweaknessisga, and Tidus uses Cheer so that he can get some experience." Though, I hate the love story... Might be something to do with the fact that I hate Yuna in this game. *shrug* ...Also, like everyone else, I hate Kimarhi. Not as a character, but as a combatant. ...Really, I've used him so little, he has less health than Yuna. I like the sphere grid, because it doesn't end up with all of your characters being exactly the same. *glares at XII's license board and VII's materia system*
I really like VII despite the aformentioned hatred toward the materia system. I don't know why really, other than I mostly like the characters and the story.
I can't really say anything on IX, since I've barely gotten into it. Barely gotten into it as in probably not even 1/4 through with the first disc. I like it so far, I just hope my hatred of love stories doesn't interfere with my enjoyment of the game.
III is ok. I've only played the DS remake, which I haven't touched in several weeks.
I is meh. I overpowered my team when I first started and now there's no challenge. I probably won't ever finish it.
II is one I hate. I don't like the leveling system at all.
X-2 is a game I utterly regret buying. The battle system is ok, but the dressspheres make all of the characters pretty much the same. The only thing I really liked about X-2 was Sphere Break. That game was awesome. It makes up for the pain I felt trying to play blitzball.
I haven't played any of the others. *shame* I want to play IV most of all, but I can't find a copy of the GBA remake anywhere. ...That, plus the fact that I spent all of my money on games and action figures.
