Technically FF7 corrected the numbering system.

I think "donkey" came from the Japanese word for "Crazy" (which must be "donki"), and "Kong" is monkey or ape (not in Japanese), so "Donkey Kong" means "Crazy Monkey" or "Crazy Ape".

Halo. (It's Spanish for "I pull", though the word "halo" does exist in Spanish, meaning, well, "halo".)

Bible Buffet for the NES.

When I first heard the title, I thought it was a game in which you ate Bibles.

ZooBooMoFoo: Playtime in Zooboo land.

I believe Nintendo Power had a few things to say about the name.

Guild Wars:

I say this simply because the PvE aspect of the game doesn't really include any "Guild Wars", and you don't actually play the game during the time the Guild Wars actually happened.

Apparantly, there was also a BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo game in Japan. (Wouldn't surprise me one bit though)
Halo. (It's Spanish for "I pull", though the word "halo" does exist in Spanish, meaning, well, "halo".)
Or it's the circular ring of light that appears above the heads of holy people like angels and Jesus in religious paintings.

It's also the ring that appears around bright stuff in misty days, such as the sun or the moon or street lights.

I still laugh when people pronounce it "hah-low", because that can only refer to "I pull".

^^^That show was so much better when it was called "Kratt's Creatures" and focused on the brothers instead of some stupid puppet.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

A Japanese game called Giant Monkey Attacks Tokyo. There was no Giant Monkey in the whole game from what I've heard, and the game takes place in Antarctica, so there's no Tokyo...

The Legend of Zelda. Zelda's not the main character of the game, and she doesn't even appear in some. Howcome it's not The Legend of Link or something?

If you had played the games you would know why it was LoZ. Plus legend of Link would be abrieviated to LoL.

EDIT: The main character is whoever the story is focused on. In most of the games that person is Zelda and it would confuse consumers to change the name.

SoniKirby is now DarkZero.

Yea, good point. Besides, Legend of Link sounds stupid anyway.

Hey you, Pikachu!

I mean, what the heck? Is that a game, or the death call of a pikachu fan?
