And it just happened to tip the scales in his favor. Convenient. And yes, people who aren't professional tend to be amateurs.

In all of the honesty I can MUSTER, I apologize for being so lazy. Really, it had nothing to do with any reason... I just procrastinated the whole damn thing. Every time I thought to do it, some sort of distraction got in the way. I swear on the grave of my Father and my grandfathers, I will NOT procrastinate next round.

I understand not only the exact quality needed here but also the standards of promptness. I am not going to apologize... I've done that enough already. However, I WILL make promises, and keep them. Please accept the fact that I will most definately continue this. However...

I believe we need to wait a tad to start armageddon because we are short a few members. Until some others sign up, we are unfortunately unable to start. I could always cut a few fighter spaces away, but we still need the elusive Judge....... As much as I hate using that term, we do need a referee to decide on the damned battles and their end...

Still.

This round is over. Defeat the faults EVERYONE had this round, and improve next round. It's a philosophy I will follow from now on.

It's a bit late to yell about it now, Scrip. If you wanted to fight my post being read as soon as I had made it, fine, but don't won't until the judging is over.

I'm not going to kill your hiker guy, though. Too much respect for robots. Next time, though, I'm using Kastor.

I can't tell just who you're mocking there, man. And Kastor rocks/rocked. COME BACK DUSTY

And I did say it was late, in my own way. Whatever, though, you'll make for more fireworks than me in the next round. Get after it.

OoC: You'll find I am far less leniant. /

Her knees scraped against the sand. Her last swing... she could barely remember throwing it, only the sudden realization that her arm was far heavier than its muscles and sinews would allow to carry. The world was tilting to one side around her, and she was dimly aware of the ground rising towards her face - as if the whole of the earth had slipped beneath and above her feet and simply left her behind. she hardly noticed the sand in her eyes, that granular sting, as her stomach convulsed and she vomited the stewed produce of her last meal from her lips in a brackish, rancid spray. From that unrolled the severed root of her tongue, prostrate and putrescent like a long-dead sardine, and with it a discharge of blood and gore so voluminous it forged a channel through the sand and mad of it a dark mud.

Her belly heaved and her lungs pumped with alarm and fervour. She no longer could inhale enough oxygene to quench the need of her biological systems, flooding with her own blood in any case. Her vision was going dark. she could... feel something hot running down her face... but pain had taken the back seat.

There was only the oceanic immensity of nausea and the dim awareness that hundreds of thousands had sewn together their animal roar into a single, unified sound. A mad, terrible sound. Some time between when her pores began to sweat her own blood into the sand and the time when her flesh peeled away in layers to leave a craterous, crimson cartography of leprous rot across the popping, pustulant features of her already flayed visage, Red Bone died. And Fever laughed. He laughed uproarously and horribly and did so despite paralysing wounds. And the crowd roared.

And soon it became apparent that the line between cheers and screams had blurred, as one by one the spectators keeled over, bleeding from everywhere with the pressured vehemence. And soon all lay still and red-drenched in the process of fleeing the carnage, as the last living tumbled groping over the guard rails and twitched and bled and died and gargled and screamed and as Fever laughed his dark laugh and Death and Decay and the Red Death held illimitable sway and dominion over all.
