Well... It was a robot. I'm sure Scripture could have improvised. Unfortunately, using robots in this kind of thing makes it so hard for the violence to be visceral....
As well, I never could see any ways to make it better. If the battle had just had a bit more time... Still, in the end, it was just that gut instinct and my decision. I am not able to give lou the best advice, but truly, there were very few things to do in that juncture... Maybe chopping it to pieces would have been best, because the character seemed like it would have handled it.

....Well, I did cleave off his arm, on top of everything else, though.
I'll take that, though, I guess. So I should have chopped him to pieces. Got it. I'll keep that in mind.

Search Mechanical Platform into Welkin or whatever pretentious name I gave the battle where I fight Erdawn for a post or two. His post rocked and he messed Scripture the hell up. That's how you can be visceral to a robot/cyborg - it's not hard. He really made it so using Scrip was a disadvantage, when you factor in Yuri's godly affinities.
So there's your reading for the night. And listen to Space Truckin' by Deep Purple while reading. It makes for good atmosphere.

It's cool. I'm just gripping the fact that I should have been more brutal to him - and that my brutality was brought down below his because he was a robot. That is something I will keep in mind for next time.

Gal, man up. You're judge. Don't apologize, explain. There's two judges left who could contradict your descison, and even if they roll with it, Myself versus Scriptrue (or Wyborn versus Repster) would both be equally appealing as a finale. Also thanks for all the compliments Matt.
Luigi and Bomby. If the both of you don't post your ****ing judgements soon, i will lose it. This is getting ****ing retarded. Especially considering Bomby's last "judgement" was basically writing down the names of the victors. Oh, and my apologies to the sensibilities of the accused - but I wil remind the lot of you that this is the tournament of Red lions in style and in tact. You are supposed to be prompt, and there is no room for the nandy-pampering celestial judge-ass-kissing delivered in the NLBFT regarding ass tardness. That was a pun.
I also better not hear any crap about personal problems unless they involve serious computer ones, because I refuse to believe you have so little free time as to read and decikde on two ****ing battles, neither of which were very long (or even SLIGHTLY long), or very good.
I want to start seeing some results. This isn't even entirely my impatience - this tournament needs to end so Armageddon can get underway. sO hurry the christ **** up.

Wow, what a ****ing disappointing round.
Match 1: Erdawn versus Repster
I'm not a big fan of disease based attacks, but Fever's flesh-eating virus was kind of neat. However, Red Bone's physical attacks were much more brutal. Not that it's really saying much. While Fever's attacks would have caused terrible damage in the long run, they lacked the immediacy of Red Bone's. If the battle had lasted much longer, Red Bone could've survived longer, but because of the overall shortness of the battle, it's impossible to tell. In the end, I think Repster stabbed himself in the foot with that last post, spending too much description on the effects of Fever's attack.
Call: Erdawn Il Infastidirsi
Match 2: Wyborn vs. Scripture
If one were to look up the word "castrated" in the dictionary, I think this battle would be the definition. Three posts worth of fighting? Neither of you had the time to get really brutal with it. Wyborn had an immediacy that Scripture lacked, and thus was able to fit more blows into his first post than Scrip did into his only post of actual fighting. However, the attack Scripture had was more brutal than any of Wyborn's singled out attacks, but Wy's attacks as a whole outshone it.

Aw, man.
All right, I was going to save this for the mods in PM, but I might as well say it now. I am disappointed in the way the judgments have been going so far - Galefore's quality and attitude notwithstanding, even his promptness leaves a lot to be desired. If I had to pick a single word to describe the judge's conduct in this tournament so far (well, mostly jsut the last couple of rounds), it would probably be....
Unacceptable.
This tournament was started based on two things: fighting for the sake of fighting (not writing) and holding the judges to a higher standard than in the NLBFT. Repster, I didn't mention this, but unless my memory fails me you left out one important part of the beginnign of this: the judges require approval before they can be judges. Would these guys have passed? Sure. But the point behind that approval is that it illustrates the accountability to which we hold our judges in the Red Lions tourney: this is not the NLBFT, where the judge's word is law and they can take however damn long they please, thank you very much, and don't you say a thing about it. This is a simple tournament in that we are supposed to fight, and you are supposed to judge: both of us are held to a certain standard of quality. If the fighters don't hold to this quality, we end up out of the tournament.
Incidentally, if the judges don't hold to that standard of quality, they end up out of the tournament, too. That's the idea.
Now, I'm not mad - I'm not even chiding any of you, as that's not my place at the moment, it's repster's because he's running the thing - but it is worth saying that, if you can't read eleven (short) posts and pass your judgment in less than a week without being a jackass about it, you don't have the devotion to your position that we're looking for. And hey, that's cool, you don't have to be into this, but it means you can't be a judge, because you have to be willing to take this seriously and give it a certain priority. The whole tournament is based on the idea that everybody has their part to play and their weight to pull. If people get impatient because you're taking too long, explain why. If you take a week to read eleven posts, give us a good reason and either an apology for your tardiness (and you actually were late, Bomby) or at the least something other than a pithy, passive aggressive load of crap. You're being judged just as much. Shape up or ship out.
Now, L007 is late - I call on repster to either grant him another day or find a replacement for him, because that is how we do it.
And please, people, no more bickering. This is why we have procedures.

^ I said castrated because it felt shortened, cut off at the end. Didn't give me much to work with. It's hard to judge a battle when the damage being dealt has been quite minimal.
If you really want to know how bad my procrastination habit is, I have DVD's I bought months ago that I still haven't watched that I keep meaning to make time for. It's no excuse but it's an explanation.

... *Sigh*
Anyway, here's my judgings, grammar lacking.
REPSTER VS. ERDAWN.
It's official. The new method of fighting is making your opponent's body become a scene of agony. Repster, I felt you were holding something back. It seemed like Erdawn just had the sort of upperhand with his mummy. The mace and bone attacks were pretty hard, but
Winner: Erdawn. And complain to the host about time next time. I'm pretty sure this was a crappy time restriction.
WYBORN VS. SCRIPTURE
Script, you surprised me. Had it not been for Wy's last post, you would have easily taken the round. Still, it's single posts like Wy's God of War that determines the round.
Winner: Wyborn.
God, this is so much like the first tourny...
