The help topics don't seem to work. I'm just starting, and I need to get some equipment. How do I do this? -CSM

I really haven't gotten around to making any help files yet, so that should explain why they don't work.
The way get weapons and armor in the system is to buy the raw materials from the forge and craft them into weapons and armor. You're going to need to buy the raw materials, buy the crafting tools, and go to the 'My Inventory' tab on the top of the screen. From there, you highlight the 'components' option on the scroll down and click 'go'. On the left there should be another scroll down listing the equipment you can make. You can scan the equipment to see how it will modify your stats before you make it. Then hit craft to see how many components you need. The rest is self-explanatory.
Buy the Tin Ingot instead of the Tin Ore. It's cheaper and it's the only usuable component with level 1 crafting.
For people who are too lazy to craft stuff, I will add a beginner's sword to the Forge in Commensport. The rest will need be crafted or won in battles.
