Yeah I remember those chats...man he was such a funny guy. I'll never forget that comment he made about greek dancing, that really exemplified his general friendliness and his willingness to let people see who he was.
Hehe, that chat was the greatest. That was also the one where Tubster said "Any minute now someone's going to strip naked, jump on a table, and poor booze all over themselves."
That joke carried on for the whole rest of the chat, which was like 2 hours long. Good times, that guy's gonna be missed.

We had some great times on AIM. After he figured out my name, he often started off the conversation with the line "u r an aardvark! "
We'd taken to playing on wifi together in the last year. In MKDS, he quit playing me because he said I was too good. In Animal Crossing: WW he would always greet me with wack to the head with a net and then a net fight would ensue. I'd trick him into falling into a pitfall I'd hid and he'd pretend to get angry. We traded items and he often invited me to go fishing in his town so that we could raise money for some of the more expensive stuff in the game. It was a lot more fun than it sounds. I still have a few items I'd been holding on to that he'd been looking for. I was going to give them to him the next time we played. I still have a few villagers that moved from his town to mine.
I know it sounds stupid, but they were some of my favorite memories of him.

Memories like that are hitting me hard, too. And it's the small things I remember that make me wanna cry.
When we chatted, he would always shout "BAH 2 U " at me, and if I remember correctly that's how he usually started conversations too. I told him once that, when I got my own car, my license plate would say BAH 2 U. I certainly plan keeping that promise.
Also, I wanted to mention that posting at VGF has been a sort of comfort for me in all this.

He did a very similar thing with me.
One day, he just randomly started saying that I'm an Adelie Penguin. Only for that one day, though. He even posted a picture of an Adelie Penguin for me on the "What you invision other VGF members to look like" topic.
I'll miss talking to him in the shoutbox. He was one of my favorite people to talk with there.

Crav, did you steal my body for a bit?I'd trick him into falling into a pitfall I'd hid and he'd pretend to get angry. We traded items and he often invited me to go fishing in his town so that we could raise money for some of the more expensive stuff in the game.
Am I being redundant?I still have a few villagers that moved from his town to mine.
Doesn't sound stupid, because It's like the exact same thing as me.I know it sounds stupid, but they were some of my favorite memories of him.

I was informed of this by Andre, and all I can say is that I'm nearly in tears.
I've never been around VGF as often as Andre has been, so most of the members here I've never even had a word with, aside from AI and various conversations with few vets (shoutbox, posts, etc.), I'm not too much active.
Knux however, was one of those few that I talked too, and he was a damned good kid from what I gathered. He liked to have fun, I could tell, just from his posts, and his conversations me and Dre would have with him on AIM.
It goes back to the family reference, this tragedy brings us closer together and brings back some people we haven't seen in a while.
Death is something that is expected but unexpected, we know it's coming, we just don't know when, we don't know when we'll be called, and we don't want to. When it hits, it's crushing to everyone it effects, child, teen, adult or elder.
I'm sorry, I'm beggining to tear up, I'll just say RIP Knux, and to the family of Knux:
You have all of our wishes, blessings, prayers, whatever needs to be given, if you need support, we're here.
As my dad would say, this is just one of those times where you're going across the field just to get popped one good time by that corner named Reality.
Love, Life, Blessings and Wishes

Nooooo...
:(
I can't even remember that last time I posted here... I even had to re-register, my screen name wasn't on the member list.
Curt just gave me the news through Yahoo... Now I feel awful I didn't download AIM on my dad's laptop. But my laptop broke, and I rarely get to use my dad's laptop, so I didn't bother downloading AIM on this laptop, because I rarely use it. Now I really wish I was able to talk to him more these past few months... But even then it wasn't really possible... I was in Europe for the past few months...
I had no idea Knux was having these health problems... I remember when I was working at Target last Christmas, and Knux was asking me I could buy this Star Wars figure for him because he couldn't find it at the stores near him... I was happy to help him, and I did find it, he paid me for it, and I sent it to him last February... And he thanked me for it... I seriously think that's the last time I talked to him. :( I really liked Phil... He was one of the best friends I made here at VGF. I remember I became friends with him when I was 15! And now I'm 21... We became friends soon after I joined VGF. And he one of the few members I still talked to after I stopped posting at VGF. We talked about Pokemon a lot, we both use to moderate the Pokemon forum together. (Then after a while it was just him who moderated that forum) We had a lot of the same interests... He loved Disney movies, and loved animals... He was just a sweet and really nice guy. ^^ This is just so unbelievable! He was so young! It just makes me incredibly sad... I just wish I talked to him more these past few months... Rest in Peace Phil, we love you! It’s hard for me to not cry now… :(

I come back here every now and then to check up on things, and this time it wasn't pleasant.
From what little I got to experience with Knux, he was a very special person. A cool poster, and one of the highest ranked persons on my "VGF respect list". He's now climbed to being the highest ranked person on that list, and I hope and believe he'll find a good place in the afterlife, wherever/whatever that may be.
Rest in peace Knux, rest in peace.

Man... I can't believe he died. Knux was always one of my favorite posters and he'll be missed. I never know what to say when people die, but here's the lyrics to one of my favorite songs that says it all.
To Knux, here's My Old Friend
My old friend, I recall
The times we had hanging on my wall
I wouldn't trade them for gold
Cause they laugh and they cry
Somehow sanctify me
Their woven in the stories I have told
And tell again
My old friend, I apologize
For the years that have passed
Since the last time you and I
Dusted off those memories
But the running and the races
The people and the places
There's always somewhere else I had to be
Time gets slim, my old friend
Don't know why, don't know why
Don't know why, don't know why
My old friend, this song's for you
Cause a few simple verses
Was the least that I could do
To tell the world that you were here
Cause the love and the laughter
Will live long after
All of the sadness and the tears
We'll meet again, my old friend
Goodbye, goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye
My old friend, my old friend
Goodbye, goodbye
To Knux, here's My Old Friend
My old friend, I recall
The times we had hanging on my wall
I wouldn't trade them for gold
Cause they laugh and they cry
Somehow sanctify me
Their woven in the stories I have told
And tell again
My old friend, I apologize
For the years that have passed
Since the last time you and I
Dusted off those memories
But the running and the races
The people and the places
There's always somewhere else I had to be
Time gets slim, my old friend
Don't know why, don't know why
Don't know why, don't know why
My old friend, this song's for you
Cause a few simple verses
Was the least that I could do
To tell the world that you were here
Cause the love and the laughter
Will live long after
All of the sadness and the tears
We'll meet again, my old friend
Goodbye, goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye
My old friend, my old friend
Goodbye, goodbye
Total slaughter, total slaughter. I won\'t leave a single man alive. La de da de die, genocide. La de da de dud, an ocean of blood. Let\'s begin the killing time.
