I think this is a wonderful idea. Could someone add this for me?

Knux, I deeply wish I could have talked to you one last time. I'm beating myself up that I didn't even say "hi" to you that time I saw you talking in the shoutbox, but I wake up in the morning and say "hello" to you now. You'll always be a precious friend to my heart, and we at VGF will always cherish your memory. Thank you so much for your wonderful friendship, the laughter, and the blessing of you.

We all love you, Knux. Rest in peace.

-Rocket_Gal

Also, I don't know how it could be worked out, but I was thinking maybe members of VGF could pitch in and send a gift to Knux's family. Don't know how that could be arranged though.

Phil added a little incentive to VGF Forums. When I came to VGF, I often looked forward to his posts, as much as other members. He was one of the most respected members on this site, and contributed over 30,000 posts to it. I'll never forget his character, which showed up through all of his posts, and even though I never got a chance to meet him, I always felt like I knew him. You've touched more people through the internet, Phillip, then most people do in real life. Rest in peace

Knux, thank you so much for the years spent on VGF getting to know you. You were one of the best individuals to grace these forums and it isn't fair to see you go now. You were loved and will be missed by many. RIP good friend.

I think we can talk Shane into setting up another donation account, but it would be for Knux's family. We could set up a goal to raise like, $1000 for them or something. *runs to get Shane*

EDIT: Add this:

I may have not known you very well, but I knew that you changed this forum with your presence. Thank you for the last two years of my life. Have fun up there.

For now I've just updated the card with everybody's posts. Would ending my input with "Rest in peace, and may Heaven have all the Star Wars figures and animals you could dream of" be tasteless? I assure SML that I'm even worse with these kinds of things than him.

^I actually think he would have wanted something like that on a card, especially his.

Yeah, I don't think it's tasteless at all. Those are things he loved after all.

Yeah, that's why I wanted to put it there, but I had questions of something like that belonging in a eulogy.

Add the Italics:

Knux, or Philip if you prefer, was one cool guy. He was one of the few guys on VGF I could discuss Pokemon with in-depth, and he was one of the nicest members here. I have a lot of good memories of VGF, and a lot of them involve Knux.

It's so strange to talk about him in the past tense. I'm gonna miss him, believe me.

Hope ya win all your Wi-Fi matches in heaven, kiddo.

What's a non-garbage word for "spunk"?

It took me a while to think up what I wanted to say. My computer is acting up again so I can't add this myself, but I'd be very grateful if somebody would do it for me.

"Phil, you touched my life more than I thought possible. You were always there, making us laugh and always being able to laugh at yourself. I can't put to words I'd like to say, so I'll just say this:
Thank you.
Thank you for all that you've given me and so many others. Thank you for all the times that we shared. Thank you for being a friend. I'll never forget you.

To the family of Philip, I'm so very, very, sorry for your lose. I wish you only the very best in these trying times.
Goodbye Knux, and thank you so very much.

Talking to Phil over the VGF Shoutbox was one of my favorite parts of life. His never ending wave of humor never ceased to make me laugh. I've talked with him multiple times a week since about March, and I feel like I've known him forever. He was a very special person to me, and I will not forget all the times we've talked. I will hold all my memories with him close to my heart, and cherish them until we meet again. He will be missed. - Amy "Bandit" Holtszer

Could someone add this for me? I have no website, nor do I know of a site where I could upload it.

Knux, I'm not that much of a writer, I can't think of a poem to give you, but I will miss you. I will never forget you.

I added the new passages, tried to keep it so people's passages aren't divided between pages, fixed the poem at the top, and tried to create some uniformity with names so people can tell who said what.

Okay...
I'm terrible at condolence cards, and even worse when they're about someone I know. Philip was a great guy and a great friend, and as far as I know that's the highest compliment one person is allowed to give another. He's on his way to heaven right now, and I definitely know that's the highest honor one person can assume about another.
I'll catch you on the flip side, Knux.

There was no one else quite like Knux. The joy and laughter he brought to me will be cherished forever. I would like to thank him for all that he's done... it has made such a difference in my life and others.

Thank you, Knux. I blow you one final kiss.

My thoughts, prayers and wishes go to the family of Phillip. You were a great member of this place, and of the real world, you were generally kind and respectful to everyone. Words in a sentence or paragraph alike could not express the sorrow that any individual feels for this loss. I won't go in depth of how good you were to me personally, I will just say how great of a loss this is.

How do you find the words to say
To say goodbye
If your heart don't have the heart to say
To say goodbye

I wish your family the best
