I would like a new RPG like BFM as well but now with this PS3 sh** all of the companys that work to make games for the PS3 will go out of business.

So R.I.P Square. Say good bye to square while it is still there.

If Square makes games for the PS3 they WILL go out of business. The Wii and the DS are bringing Nintendo back. We already saw the PSP was a disaster. -CSM

Xbox 360 will fail. PS3 will mega-time fail. WII WILL RULE!

The DS started to bring nintendo out of its deep dark pit they dug themselves.

Well, if Square makes good games for Wii, it might not go out of business. But doesnt Square hate Nintendo? If it doesnt make games for Wii, then it will go out of business. Make the right decision, Square!

Square will have no choice but to work for nintendo wether they like it or not.

Nintendo will force them in a corner since the wii will be the most popular gaming system out there and the other systems will be severly in decline.

If they can make their cinimatic fancy-schmancy games on the Wii, they won't. That's the reason they left to begin with. -CSM (Sometimes I forget whether or not I'm on a forum or a wiki!)

Another MMORPG? Guess that's where the money is then, or at least that's where they think it is.

Wow, seems to be a lotta fanboys in here.

People are going to by PS3 because too many still stereotype Nintendo WAAYYY too much, and giving it a name like "wii" will deter any borderline gamers to getting the PS3. Even though the price is rediculously high.

Not to mention, Square is making a game for the Wii I believe, it's a Mario Sports Game, but it's the start of a rekindling of a relationship.

Stu: Unfortunately, there are a lot of morons who play MMOs way too much and don't spend their money on worthwhile things.

Andre: That stereotype is probably going to come to an end. Look at the new Smash Bros. game, which is featuring Snake (a popular character among older gamers). They're not making Pokemon games at the rate at which they used to. The DS is outselling the PSP, which is a sign Nintendo is coming back. Almost every expert predicts that the PS3 will be Sony's downfall. Probably the only thing the Wii has against it is its controller (which I'm particularly not fond of). Sony is putting all their money into hardware and is not ashamed to admit that the PS3 will be like a computer. Nintendo is making more investments in games, and frankly, that will probably be the deciding factor. Many people I talk to are sick of fancy graphics. -CSM

I believe that there will be a standard controller for the Wii.

You also have to look at though: the people that don't follow all the details on the systems. The folks that don't really look online to see opinoins and views of such, those who don't access gaming magazines to check on such. Those people that just somehow hear about the PS3 and decide to buy it, because, well it's the PS3.

Trust me, it is common, especially somewhere out here.

When someone sees a price like 599 dollars you think someone is just going to look at it and buy it?

If it has their favorite system series in its name, then yes.

That's fanboyism and stupidity for you. Funny how they fit right together, no?

Occasionally fanboyism has no link to stupidity but it's far and few in between. I had to work with a lab group in chemistry class that was obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean and Kingdom Hearts and I didn't dare disagree for for one would try to murder me for my opinion. Glad I was able to work alone though it was a turbulent year.

I personally think Nintendo does have a strong chance to do well this next generation if they are able to successfully hook people. They have some interesting games that are going to come out like Disaster which is a first person shooter published by Nintendo. Many neat concept's and possibilities can be used by the Wiimote if we open our minds. That will be Nintendo's problem. Ignorance, arrogance, fear, stubbornness, and blindness will be the big enemy that most people in the world have. I too wondered how it would be possible but when watching the video with my grandpa, he convinced me that it would work and many things could be done. Seeing the possibilities made me believe my grandpa was right.

This could be the generation were Sony falls if they keep up with their cocky attitude and mistakes. The controversy they keep making is going to slap them in the face and ruin their support too. Nintendo has made plenty of mistakes but they have learned from them and are trying a plan that seems crazy but it just might work.

Also many companies just might stop supporting Sony if it becomes too unprofitable for them. Maybe if enough Square fans speak up them maybe SquareEnoix will be more Creative.

That truely is the sadest news I've ever seen.

No wait, second sadest.

The winner still goes to the death of Chrono Break.-jay
