Javelin's Pokemon Journey!

Javelin had always grown up fond of pokemon. She lived with her Grandfather, Professor Oak, and often studdied the pokemon he had there. Professor Oak had all types of pokemon, from Tauros to Kangaskahn, to Muk. He had explained to Javelin that years ago there was a noble pokemon trainer who he started off on his pokemon journey named Ash, and Ash had given all these pokemon to Oak to take care of. Oak had lost in touch with Ash over the years and so Oak kept the pokemon and cared for them in his enviroment.

Oak knew all the pokemon he had would come in handy some day as he was still starting off trainers on their pokemon journey's. He had always wanted to watch his granddaughter grow up and become a Pokemon Trainer, and the day had finally come.

....

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Elm shouted. "JAVELIN WAKE UP! IT'S YOUR BIG DAY!"

Oak ran downstairs and tried to prepare everything. Javelin walked downstairs still tired, yet excited at the same time. "Surprise!" Everyone shouted. There were a bunch of people in the house, from family members to family friends.

They continued in the festivities for a little while until it was time for Oak to present Javelin with her gift. "Javelin, Its been my dream since you were little that you would grow up and become a great pokemon trainer. Now I'm able to say that it will be a reality. You may choose any of my pokemon you wish." Oak took Javelin in the backyard to choose. Oak had Big Pokemon, small pokemon, basic forms, evolved stages, many different kinds. Suddenly a charmander jumped up into Javelin's arms. "This is what I want, Grandpa." Javelin said. I'd like this charmander. "Great!" Oak said. "It seems to like you already." "Tommorow at dawn, you may start your pokemon journey." Oak stated.

Javelin continued to enjoy her birthday and everything that came with it. Before she knew it, it was the next day. "I'm up Grandpa, and I got up by myself this time, I'm excited." "Alright, Alright. If you're going out on your journey now, however, you're going to need something to track all the different pokemon you will see. This will do."

Javelin received a Pokedex!

"You'll also need all this cool pokemon navigational equipment."

Javelin received a Pokenav!

"Go on now, drop by and visit your grandpa whenever you'd like!"

Javelin breathes a sigh of happiness as she realizes this is the first time she's on her own. She walks out of the Lab and sees two houses next door, and a path.

2. Go to a house

Deciding it might be a good idea to check if she was leaving anything behind, Javelin deicded to enter her own house and check what she might be missing from her own room.

Javelin walks into her room to see if she left any belongings behind. She walks over to her computer and deposits the potion she remembered she put in for good luck. She grabbed some snacks from the fridge and water and was off again.

2. Go to a house(Not your own!)

Deciding staying around any longer may make her change her desires to leave, with a heavy heart, Javelin starts North to Route 1, heading towards Viridian City.

Javelin walks through the grass humming joyfully along with her Charmander who is also in high spirits. Javelin starts thinking about being out on her own. Will she be able to survive? Well, of course she will, Oak wouldn't have sent her out by herself if she couldn't do it...Just then, something disrupted her train of thought.

"Psst, kid."

"Who....Who's there?"

"Hey, my name's Aaron. I foresaw you coming here. I'm destined to give you this potion, so.....here."

Javelin Recieved a Potion!

"Who..Are.."

Javelin's voice trailed off after she realized the man had already run off down the road. Thinking about the weird occurance, Javelin is second guessing herself as a pokemon trainer and being able to make it on her own. She pushes onward, however, down Route 1. She comes to a point in the road where there seems to be 3 options of where to go next.

To the right, it seems like a very scenic route, not much tall grass, but quite a few trees and she can see some trainers from where she's standing. Straight ahead, she can see some tall grass, however, it seems like she may be able to get to Viridian City faster if she went straight through it. To the left Javelin spots a small hut along with some tall grass and trees.

Which way will you choose?

Thinking the small hut is quite out of place being out of town, Javelin can't help herself and moves to look inside of it and see what its all about . . .

Javelin moves towards the small hut walking at a slower pace, as if she expects something odd to be at this hut. She knocks on the door, "hello?" The door opened by itself. The lights are out in this hut and there's no windows. Javelin wonders what would happen to her if she were to go inside....

Do you want to go inside or keep along the path towards Viridian City?

having already come this far, javelin couldn't just leave the small hut as a mystery, so with a deep breath she walks in, her Charmander a step behind her, his little flaming tail sending a candlight effect into the dark place.

Javelin, looking to the side, gets hit with something at a rapid pace.

"Oww..who did that!"

"It was me, little girl," Says a voice right in front of her, with her charmander's tail lighting up the room she could now see the small lady in front of her, and the lady's Treeko was standing on a table in front of her.

"I dont usually get many guests in here, but when I do, I like to surprise them."

"Well, you dont have to be so cruel.."

"Yes, I know, but I'd like to give you this.."

Javelin received TM Bullet Seed!

"Use it on a grass type pokemon. This move fires rapid seeds at the opponent... Now, get out of my house!"

Javelin leaves feeling uneasy about the encounter she just had. She's now outside of the road and doesn't know if she would like to turn back and take one of the other roads or continue down this one towards Viridian city.

Javelin just shakes her head, feeling really rather uneasy as she looked at the green colored disk . . . so this was a TM, huh? Too bad her Charmander couldn't use it . . . but then, flaming bullet seeds may be a little too heavy at this point. She grinned to herself, and started to head back north again, purposely walking through the tall grass, and looking around for anyone who might be a trainer.

It wasnt long before Javelin was walking through the Tall grass a Pidgey swooped down and was ready for battle...

"Its pretty weak, Charmander! Just use Scratch until it faints!" Javelin called to her Charmander.

Charmander's claws sharpened as he threw them at Pidgey

Charmander used Scratch!

"Good shot Charmander!" javelin yelled.

Pidgey's HP: 2/12

Pidgey's wings speeded up as it countered with a Gust.

Charmander's HP: 20/24

Charmander reared up with another scratch.

Pidgey Fainted!

Charmander Gained Experience!

Javelin kept traveling on her path to Viridian City down the dense road.

"Hey, You!" A voice shouted.

"Me?"

"yea, You. Let's battle."

"You looked at me, you have to accept."

Cooltrainer Jim wants to battle!

Javelin sent out Charmander as it was her only pokemon.

Jim sent out Nidoran F!

"Charmander! Use Scratch until its dead, or until you're too weak to launch another attack without getting knocked out next turn!"

Javelin, having won her battle, yawned as it became night and a tough day. She kept walking and reached Viridian City! She looks up ahead and sees an old man in the distance, a few houses, the pokemon center, the pokemart and an area to the left with a little tall grass and a path.

Although the Pokemon center was an obvious choice, with new yen in her hand, she looked down at her Charmander, "Charmander, would you mind if we did a little shopping first? Maybe there would be something nice for you?"

Javelin walked over to the pokemart. She opened the door and walked over to the counter, "Hello, would you like to purchase something or sell something" She asked? The pokemart menu read:

Pokeballs 200$
Potions: 250$
Paralyz Heal: 100$
Antidote: 100$

Your money: 500$ (Some money from Oak and that you saved up)

Javeline visably frowns, "oh wow, everything is so expensive . . . and they really don't anything you can use Charmander . . . I guess I will just take 2 PokeBalls . . ." she shrugs, planning on heading to the PokeCenter right after.
