Game of the Week ideas? (We need your thoughts!)

#1

Post by LOOT » Fri Feb 10, 2006 7:37 pm

We should probably start the Sonic Game of the Week again. However, I want a little twist on it. I'm thinking we should probably have something like Time Trial records or similar. Anybody have any ideas?

Unless given a better idea, the first GotW Sonic edition will probaby be Sonic Advenute 2, since it's loved by everybody who is still a Sonic lover.

Best Gameplay
Best Story
Best Graphics
Best Voice Actors
and so on...

Sonic The Hedgehog 2(Genesis) comes to mind, as does Sonic Battle and Sonic The Fighters(Sonic Battle being an actually full out game)
What's the matter, scared?

Hm. The last one taht I recall we did was Sonic 1. Maybe we should just do them in the order they were made?

You should probably start with Sonic The Hedgehog 2 revamped on the Megdrive (from the Genesis). That was the best Sonic game in my opinion.

Why can't it be a good sonic game like the original 1 2 and 3. Don't make it like the Pokemon forum and have the worst monsters as PotW.

hmm, maybe sonic and knuckles, I liked that most out of the old ones; I usually can't be bothered playing a game like sonic for a long time so I've never got around to completing the old ones.

@SolarEclispe - Wellll, you might have a point there. :P

Hmm in that case, Sonic The Fighters, the only sonic game to be released in an arcade. ;)

Actually, there was more. One used a roller ball (The name escapes me). I think another one was a clone of Sonic 2, but don't quote me on that.

There was also a popcorn shop, a police car ride, and a Spaceship one.

'Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2' both had arcade versions.

'SegaSonic the Hedgehog' was the rollorball game.

Then there was 'SegaSonic Cosmo Fighter' and 'Waku Waku Sonic Patokaa'

And then there was 'Sonic the Fighters', the most overrated arcade game evah...
