Question
There's another RPG hack (currently in beta). What are your thoughts on adding it as well (once it gets to a stable version)? Worth it for the variety, or not worth the risk of splitting the userbase between the two?

Personally, I think that the combination of the RPG we have and the P3tz is more than enough- people aren't quite sure what to do with the both of them. Adding another RPG may just wind up getting the new one neglected. Or, if it's a significantly different system than the existing one, the old one will get neglected and everyone will jump to the new one. If a new RPG does get added to the board, it should probably be instead of the existing one. I'd say it would make sense to give this other RPG a long, thorough look to see how it differs from our current one, both in terms of gameplay and quality, and in terms of mod/admin customizeability (especially given all the time already put in on this RPG. o.o) before considering the possibility of adding it.

With V3 of this on the horizon, any decision of this one or that one would be unwise. Of course, when exactly V3 is actually coming out is anyone's guess. They haven't even managed to get it into private beta, despite hyping it for months. If I had to guess, not really knowing anything about the other hack, the best thing the other one has going for it would be that it's newer (thus things like the battles would be superior to this one), and the quality of support for it will be better, at least for now. In terms of general overall features, this one is probably better and will only improve in the coming months.
