Questions About WiFi Connection

#1

Post by null » Sun Jan 29, 2006 12:55 pm

I'm thinking about buying a Nintendo DS and AC:WW. I have a broadband internet connection and a Linksys Router, It's not wireless though. Im wondering if it has to be wireless, and why. What else will I have to buy along with the game to play online?

Thanks

Yes it has to be wireless. The reciever is built in to the DS, so you don't need to buy anything extra.

If you don't have a wireless router, you can by a special USB device that will send the internet signal to the DS.

I don't know about retail, but Nintendo's online store sells it for $34.95

It's not sold in retail.

^ If it's not, then why did EB Games have a 10% off coupon for it (which I had)?

Yeah, Nintendo recently started selling the USB adapter in stores, due to the popularity of WFC.
