So far it has a 75 Critic Score on Metacritic, which is around what I expected. I read a couple of the reviews; IGN had a good one, they gave it a 7/10 and it was informative & fair. Apparently it lacks much replay value and is missing some QoL stuff like the ability to skip cutscenes. On the other hand Metro only gave it a 5/10, and had a deranged complaint about the dress-up mechanic being "sexist". I'll be interested in seeing what the User Score looks like and may update the topic with it.Nintendo has lifted the embargo on Princess Peach: Showtime, and first reviews are now starting to emerge.
Princess Peach: Showtime marks the first standalone game for the character since Super Princess Peach, a DS release that came out in 2005. The hook here is that Peach can take on different transformations to change up the gameplay. Figure Skater Peach, Dashing Thief Peach, Mermaid Peach, Cowgirl Peach, Swordfighter Peach, Patissiere Peach, Kung Fu Peach, Detective Peach, and Ninja Peach make up the lineup.
As for why you’re going on this adventure, Princess Peach and some Toads are about to see a performance at the Sparkle Theater, but the wicked Grape and Sour Bunch take over. Peach is trapped inside, so she’ll need to take the stage of each show using the power of Sparkle.
Here’s the roundup of reviews for Princess Peach: Showtime reviews roundup:

Princess Peach: Showtime releases for Switch worldwide on March 22, 2024. A free demo can be downloaded via the eShop now.
I'll check out the demo at least at any rate. Is anybody else interested in this game? I hope it sells decently, then maybe we can get more Peach spinoffs, and possibly even ones starring other characters like Daisy and Waluigi.
