I've seen it at Target. I haven't tried it yet-----------it's on the same rack as the new Caramel Coffee M&Ms, I can't just eat candy all day long. I mean, I'd like to, but I can't.

I don't keep up with Mr. Beast, but he is pretty cool, he helps a lot of people. That's how rich people should be. I'm not interested in his mediocre looking candy though.

It's weirdly expensive. I haven't tried it.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I tried it.

...It's... very ordinary. Not worth the almost $2 price tag.

It's so expensive here, too. Worse than Lindt chocolate which I love.

Still haven't tried out the Mr Beast candy.

...I just got back from Dakota---------I've got Dakota candy to get through, like Nut Goodies and Twin Bings and Idaho Spuds and Whozeewhatsits (aka Whatchamacallit's smarter little brother). Flavours of Cow Tale I'd never imagined.

Well, Nut Goodies are kind of a chocolate-covered roundel of maple nougat and peanuts. Twin Bings are two ping-pong ball-sized lumps of cherry nougat covered in chopped peanuts and chocolate. Idaho Spuds are a kind of soft marshmallow covered in chocolate and unsweetened coconut (not everyone likes them--------good, more for me).

Most places in Wisconsin barely even get the regular Cow Tales---------in Dakota they also get Caramel Apple, Chocolate Brownie, Oreo, and Strawberry Smoothie. It's an embarrassment of riches.

...good for them. Hope it makes up for the hellacious winters and marauding bands of radioactive mutants swooping down from Canada and the ever-present threat of the Wendigo.

I finally tried this, it was discounted. It basically tastes like a less sweet, more crunchy version of a Crunch bar. Not bad.

I was going to try the MrBeast chocolate, but I saw Twix has a new Cookie Dough variant, so I got that instead.

It's not awful, but it's one of those ideas that I'm sure sounds better on paper-----------like, Twix already has a cookie inside, the cookie dough isn't adding anything new and thrilling to the mix. Compare to the Cinnamon Churro version of the Salted Nut Roll, which is tremendous.

^ I tried that Twix too. I really didn't like it, I find it's the worst variant. It's perfectly edible but it didn't taste like cookie dough, just more sugar, and the texture was way off what I expected expected.

it's like any candy or chocolate that tries to be a more healthy, organic alternative - its just underwhelming compared to the more stock stuff

I tried the new flavour of KitKat--------Chocolate Frosted Doughnut. It's a stupid waste of time. A KitKat that tastes of chocolate and pastry? Who could ever in their wildest imaginings even begin to conjecture something so wild and out-of-left-field?

Hey, Nestle, be original-------------Pineapple Pizza KitKat. Make it and release it in America. If you don't do it, the Japanese will. Or hey, Halvah KitKat. Like f*ckin duh. They've got all the stupid coffee and tea flavours, why haven't they done halvah yet? Where are the Pfeffernuss KitKats, Nestle? Where are the Bread and Butter Pickle KitKats, you unimpressive dorks? Where are the Tea Ring KitKats? I want a Gas Station Egg Salad Sandwich KitKat, and I want it last week. Reuben KitKat, posthaste. Ketchup KitKat. Italian Dressing KitKat. Bug Spray KitKat. 9-Volt Battery KitKat. The darkness calls.

Is there going to be a KitKat-flavoured Cow Tale before there's a Cow Tale-flavoured KitKat? I wanna know.

When the blueberry KitKats were discontinued, I stockpiled them; I found a whole untouched box at the dormant garden-exit register of a Walmart, took it to a normal register, & bought them all. I still have 3 or 4 left.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I don't remember those, that sounds good. I love berries. More stuff should be berry flavored, Snickers would be a good candy bar for that.

I enjoyed the pumpkin KitKats that came out a few years back, but the real winner was the carrot cake-flavoured ones from Eastertime. I hadn't had carrot cake before-------------the KitKats inspired me to try it out, and now it's my favourite.

I get it------------carrot cake kind of sounds like a goony contradiction. Like zucchini bread, or cucumber soda.

You know, you don't really think about it growing up, how much your tastes in food are a little dictated by your parents. Like, probably the reason I never tried carrot cake up until I was in my thirties is because mom doesn't like carrots. I never had brussels sprouts or spinach as a kid. We had all kinds of foods I didn't like (does anyone really like turkey or stuffing? I feel like it's been thrust upon us at crappy Thanksgiving, and...you know, if it was good, people wouldn't still be trying out mad science on turkey to make it palatable. "We're deep-frying our turkey after inserting jalapeńo slices under the skin, and we're trying a new recipe of stuffing comprising half sage-and-onion-infused cornbread and half Frankenberry!" Screw off).

[EDIT: People look down their noses at the Japanese for thinking we eat KFC at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and it's baffling. I'd be overjoyed to have a KFC thigh instead of a pile of bone-dry turkey shrapnel.]
