Re: Wikiversity
Never heard of it, but Wikipedia is so unreliable and full of disinformation that it's a terrible idea for it to be used for education, a system already broken as-is.

Re: Wikiversity
I didn't know about it.
I'd imagine, though, that the moderators would be quick to remove vandalism as they usually are on Wikipedia as well.
And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Re: Wikiversity
What Wikipedia deems vandalism often actually isn't. The main problem is they aren't concerned with objective truth; original research isn't allow, only "reliable, published sources", even if the sources are verifiably, demonstrably false. What they deem a "reliable source" is also biased.
That leads into another issue, they often violate one of their "five pillars", that "Wikipedia is written from a neutral point of view", when it in fact is not.
To Wikipedia's credit though, they do have an accessible talk page and past versions of articles are saved, so there's at least some degree of transparency, but the average viewer isn't going to really be digging into that.

Re: Wikiversity
Hmm, this is starting to sound like politics, but as I recall, we're not supposed to talk about politics here anymore.

Re: Wikiversity
...I like Wikipedia. You take it with a grain of salt.
Used to write term papers off it. You know, you can't credit it academically, but the articles often cite things you can credit academically.
I'm a gamer----------I might not cheat, but I know an easy headshot when I see it.
