I turn around for a few years and the whole world dies and resurrects and dies again and resurrects again

Of special note, we have gotten rid of and do not plan to restore anything related to politics because it was toxic. Most of us have known each other for 10 or 20 years and share at least some similar interests and hobbies. We should be able to get along. Political posts have only accounted for a small percentage of the posts here but also almost all of the problems and divisiveness, so we are not interested in dealing with the fighting going forward. If people want to play in a dumpster fire, that's what Twitter is for.
You're still holding to this, right?

I think that was a positive change, so it's probably better for it to remain in effect, especially these days.

I think I'll pop in a couple times per decade as long as it's up.
Same here. Hard to believe this account of mine is nearly old enough to drink. :omg:
Mine was already 21+ two years ago. Now my account is old enough to be out of university and married. It’s turning 23 in a few days. :omg:

Haha thanks! I wasn’t sure if anyone remembered me anymore. It’s been decent. I forgot my password so I had to have a reset email sent… took like 2 days though. I miss the glory days of message boards before social media. Really glad to see this place is still kicking after all these decades. :)

Welcome back! I remember you based on your username. It'd have been more surprising if you did still remember your password lol

Yep, the forum is still kicking, amazingly.

I remember quite a while ago trying to get my account back, it was a real hassle because the ancient email service I used shut down (it was a WWF one, from back when there were tons of fun, gimmicky options).

So, do you still like Zelda after all this time? Are you looking forward to the new one?

Welcome back... I, also, remember you, PZelda!!

I'm glad to hear things are well for you. We try to keep this tiny part of the internet alive. It's always lovely to see older members remember to check in... and I hope you do check in as often as your time permits!!

Happy to see this site is back - it's weird, I registered when I was uhhh 11 years old apparently. That was nearly 20 years ago. Still see usernames I recognize too.

Went down a NEGLECTED CHARACTERS rabbithole yknow? Was reading Bob and George a while back as well. Crazy to see I posted 760+ comments on here back in the day. Also nice to see an archive of our younger selves since the internet has become so homogenized

Very nice

Can't think of anything particularly weird that I've watched lately. I've mostly been catching up on/writing about South Korean cinema, as I've decided that I want to dedicate a YouTube channel to that. The best movie I've watched recently was definitely Decision to Leave which isn't weird per se, but has some surreal elements to it.

Hey, welcome back. That sounds like a pretty unique channel idea, I don't think I've seen one like that, but I've seen channels about Japanese movies.
