Chun Li (Street Fighter)
Dee Jay (Street Fighter)
Mai Shiranui (Fatal Fury)
Mitsurugi (Soulcalibur)
Jago (Killer Instinct)
Orchid (Killer Instinct)
Fulgore (Killer Instinct)
Glacius (Killer Instinct)

Strongest in terms of professional play, I'd probably say Ryu. Canonically, I don't really know, maybe Ryu but Fulgore possibly.

I mostly use Link in every iteration of SSB, and also that one version of Soulcalibur IV.

Played a lot of Street Fighter 2 as a kid. Chun Li was a favorite, but I also liked Blanka, Ryu, and E. Honda.

Sub Zero is pretty rad. Not that I'm any good at a Mortal Kombat.
