Function: Straightforward local multiplayer versus mode.

Trivia:
--The usual Stock & Timed modes are available.
--Sports mode is technically part of this realm, but it's so weird that I count it separately.
--Whoever presses continue after the end of a match gets bumped into the P1 slot on the character-select screen, but sitting character selections & custom control schemes *don't* shift with you.

My friends & I learned that last bit of trivia the hard way. That seems like a glaring bit of QA oversight.
