What's 5 songs that you don't like?
And, when was the last time you heard one of them?

Re: Songs you don't like
I truly, truly hate Colbie Caillat-----'Christmas in the Sand'. It's the worst kind of twee cutesy-poo garbage.
I haven't had to hear it since holiday season 2019 (it was part of the barfy seasonal rotation at my old store--------fortunately there's no piped-in music at my current job).

Re: Songs you don't like
There's a lot of music I hate. Narrowing it down to popular, influential songs I despise I can think of a couple.
"Imagine" by John Lennon is what immediately comes to mind, though. It's a Luciferian song, really. It's got an antichrist theme, and it brings to mind 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, and even Ezekiel 28:13 to further the connection between music and Satan generally.
"Montero" by Lil Nas X is absolutely vile, especially because of the fact that he cultivated a fan base largely comprised of children before suddenly dropping that music video. It's more blatantly evil than "Imagine," but probably less influential in the long run.
For songs that simply annoy me, "Oh No" by Capone is up there. It's incredibly cringe. "WAP" by Cardi B is depraved, but also just not a good song, it's just noise and flesh.

Re: Songs you don't like
'Fight Song' is galling to me. I mean, the song itself is really wan and pathetic, but the truly gross thing is that it refers to itself as a fight song. It sure as heck isn't my idea of a fight song. A real fight song should get you all riled up, as though you were going to fight something. 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' is a good fight song. 'We're Not Gonna Take It'? Fight song all the way. 'Keep On Rockin in the Free World'? Oh heckin heck yeah. 'B.O.B.'? Man alive.
'Fight Song' isn't a fight song, it's a take a nap song. Take two 'Eye of the Tiger's and call me in the morning.
lol moar like "i've still got a lot of fart left in me"
[EDIT: 'Beat It' is a pretty rad fight song, which is kind of funny, inasmuch as the song is entirely about how fighting is effing dumb and childish.]

Re: Songs you don't like
^I've come around to the Beatles over the past few years. They'll never be anywhere near my favourite band, but I'm okay with them.
...that said, 'Imagine' can go eat worms.
Oh, and as far as I'm concerned, Paul > John. Just my opinion.

The macarena is one of the worst songs. I think someone trolled me (family prank) with it just after Christmas.

Re: Songs you don't like
^^ I don't actively dislike them, but old music really doesn't appeal to me much. What is your favorite band anyway?
^ Macarena is bizarre, I don't know how it caught on but it was everywhere for a while. I remember this being kind of funny.

^I don't know. Probably Queen, or David Bowie, or the Stones. Probably.

Re: Songs you don't like
Ah, David Bowie was interesting. I always think of Labyrinth when he is mentioned. My friend also recently introduced me to a game featuring him called Omikron: Nomad Soul. Really weird but pretty in line with his style, you should look it up if you're unfamiliar.

I tried to find it for Dreamcast, but no place ever had it. It'd probably cost me an arm and a leg these days...

Yeah, without even looking I'm sure it's costly. The price of retro games exploded during the pandemic.

...oh, wait. Eww. 'Omikron' was developed by Quantic Dream. Maybe I'm not sorry I missed it after all.

...I'm sorry, how many xtreme beach volleyball games has Quantic Dream made, again? Oh, that's right----------none at all.

^ Which one of their games is your favorite? It's Heavy Rain for me, a gritty noir detective game is hard to turn down.
I think Heavy Rain had a type of handball minigame. That's close enough, right?Booyakasha wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 10:40 am...I'm sorry, how many xtreme beach volleyball games has Quantic Dream made, again? Oh, that's right----------none at all.

Re: Songs you don't like
...'Heavy Rain' does have plenty in common with DOAXBV, now you mention it. Both have crummy controls, both have fleeting instances of nudity, both feature an irredeemably evil playable character with huge boobs (DOAXBV has Christie, 'Heavy Rain' has Scott Shelby). Hmmm...
