Rogue Legacy and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (repeat from December) are free for 1 week on Epic. I don't play platformers much anymore, but Rogue Legacy is probably the best one I've played in years.

Rogue Legacy was great until it got toward the end. It became a bit repetitive and difficult for it's own good. There were also some useless and stupid abilities. I'd hope the sequel improved upon it.

Have you played Spelunky? It has a similarly polished physics engine and is incredibly fun to play. You'd probably like it.

I think I tried Spelunky but found it too difficult. Not sure how because I don't own it. Maybe when I had PS Plus.

Yeah, it is pretty difficult, but I found it had that "just one more try" feel. It also lets you move slowly if you're careful and patient.
