We went to see 'Jungle Cruise' this evening. It was okay. It was kind of like 'The Mummy', if 'The Mummy' wasn't as good.

70) Meet the Blacks - C+. Kinda funny, kinda stupid.
71) Fear Street Part 1: 1994 - B. I enjoyed that the characters all acted more or less intelligently.
72) Fear Street Part 2: 1978 - C+. More of a traditional slasher bloodbath, which isn't my scene.
73) Fear Street Part 3: 1666 - B+. Genuinely clever & interesting plot structure.
74) Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - B
75) The Cocoanuts - B
76) No Place Like Home - B+
77) Gremlins - B+
78) Jurassic Park - A
79) GalaxyQuest - A-. Not sure how I never watched this before now; it's great.

82) The Knight Before Christmas - C-. I'll do you one better: WHY is Vanessa Hudgens?
83) The Princess Switch - D+. Mostly just predictable.
84) The Princess Switch: Switched Again - D. What the hell is this crap?
85) Tinker Bell - D-. Jess fell asleep. Sadly, she was laying on me, so I couldn't get away.
86) The Neverending Story - B+. Very fun, but just kinda stops.

91) Shang-Chi & the Legend of the Ten Rings - A-. Amazing action, beautifully designed & filmed, great character development.
92) Free Guy - A. Every bit as funny as I expected, but also WAAAYYYY deeper than I expected. It's not totally about what you think it's about.

We saw 'No Time to Die' this afternoon. At 2:41 it was pretty extraordinarily long for a Bond movie, but it didn't feel its length at all. Good flick.

Oh yeah, I saw Sonic the Hedgehog couple weeks ago. Sonic's characterization was off, way off. It just kinda looked like Sonic. It was good by video game movie standards, and I'm sure kids would enjoy it a lot.

Man alive. Back from Dakota-----I saw me some kids' movies out there, alright.

'Croods 2'----Acceptible sequel. I would be okay with them never making any more Croods content.
'Addams Family 2'----Awful. Utterly devoid of charm and humour.
'Animal Crackers'----Really bad and boring.
'We Can Be Heroes'----Pathetic direct-to-video superhero dross.
'Gnomeo and Juliet'----Ugh.
'Sherlock Gnomes'----Ditto.
'Puss in Boots'----Not bad. I haven't seen any Shrek sequels. If this is representative of their quality, maybe I checks them out.
'Secret Magic Control Agency'----...actually, this was alright, aside from the lame-o generic title. A mashup of all different fairytales, like Shrek or Hoodwinked or etc.

And of course the kids watched all manner of other crap in a sincere effort to drive me mad. I wasn't overly pleased to revisit 'The Lorax', believe me. On the flipside, I found 'Halloween is Grinch Night' on Youtube and made them watch it. It starts kind of slow, but the last five minutes get pretty wild and wacky.

I also watched 'In the Line of Fire' one night after the kids were in bed. Hadn't seen it in a long time---------that is one good movie. Taut, you know?

99) Eternals - B. Several good decisions hampered by several bad decisions. Again, good as a change-up from formula.
100) Love Hard - B-. Some avoidable cringe knocked this down a bit, but overall it's fun.
101) 101 Dalmatians (1961) - B+
102) Christmas with a Prince - D-. Christian TV-channel ripoff of a Netflix movie that wasn't even good in the first place. I wasn't forced to watch Melinda Shankar improve as an actress for 7 seasons of Degrassi just to be forced to watch her get stuck in this crap. My wife gave up on it near the end, & she almost never gives up on Christmas movies.
103) Aliens - A. Outstandingly constructed sequel.

109) Ghostbusters: Afterlife - A-. This was a blast. Funny, touching, exciting.

115) All I Want for Christmas Is You - D. Very good voice acting can't make up for godawful animation & an insulting script.

117) Encanto - A. Another Miranda-composed Disney cartoon, but it feels closer to In The Heights than to Moana (not that I didn't also love Moana).
